Oh, wait a second, I think I may have done effed up picking LUK. This means Halogen gets to attack first against me in the finals, should we both get to that point. That 1012 strength ain't no joke.

Unfortunate? More like you cost me the win in this tournament. I could have been a contender lol.

In all seriousness, I was seriously hampered by my late submission in R1, so the only way I could take serious command of the tournament was to go for the Hail Mary and make a ridiculously unorthodox pick. STR in R5 made the most sense because it made the least sense. Everybody that struggled with the song would have gone for INT or LUK, and all of the good players would (or at least we're supposed to) pick DEX on the account that said songs would most likely be out of AAA range and thus DEX would yield a higher base score. The only mistake that I made was not taking the time to improve my R5 score on the offset chance that someone was thinking along the same lines as I was (again, dammit, Halogen).

But I guess Halogen may have just secured himself (herself?) the victory in this tournament. Now that we've revealed our hands, players are now going to consciously think about taking big risks to improve their overall position. Thus, no matter what decision I will make, I have to assume that at least three people made the same decision I made, which in turn affects the stat improvements. I'm going to have to go to the drawing board for this one.

And thanks ryuyasha for jumping late on int. I just realized I was the only one who submitted for int that had third class information about submitted scores.
Guys pls, luck is so much better than int and you don't even have to manipulate your score.

I tried to pick luck, was not going to change it. I thought when he said you could get luck after you had maxed it out it implicitly meant you could choose it first. You would not have seen anything anyway, because I did not switch my stat priority until after the round, when he said I had to.

I think what happened was you already picked luck three times in the tournament, hence you were barred from picking it as your main again. Which, in retrospect, seems pretty unfair because by that logic, the only people who could pick Luck are the people that only picked it twice or less.

I ended up switching to Luck only because I thought no one would pick it. I didn't realize that there were people in the field that can't pick it.

Yeah, I agree. But not my tournament or my place to complain. Besides, I was also not the only one who tried this, so it may have been worse for me overall (other than hypothetically facing you).

Everybody else gets like 300+ and I barely crack 190?

You and your thousand int, and still top 3 in total stats? Besides, you still beat a quarter of the people who picked the same stat. I see little room for complaining there. BTW See you in round 2.
