DataCenter Update

Yay! Only one more day to go until that core router gets updated at the datacenter in the Chicago Board of Trade building. While we still maintain connectivity, access speeds are slow until that core router is replaced and we get back onto our full Dual Gigabit Up/Down stream connections. Make sure when playing the game that you let the game and the lower multiplayer module fully load to avoid any issues.
This has given me some time to cook up a couple extra new features for the current release of FFR that will be released this week.

man for a while ffr would load and so would mp, then ffr would load but not mp or but a few songs, now ffr wont load xD! looking forward to your server fuctioning correctly again!

Sorry about the slowness these past 2 days. We only have 2 options, move to a new datacenter or stick it out with the current datacenter until they get the new part in tomorrow night. Once they get the new part in, the site will be explosively fast.
The FFR servers themselves are sitting around and waiting for traffic that they are not getting because the core router can’t deliver the traffic.

A new problem has started with loading. Its stuck 374k while loading. Even a couple of days later, it is still doing that. I’m assuming its because of the datacenter problem, and itll be fixed tomorrow. Hope for the best!

Yup, the loading problems are because of the datacenter.. There are about 3 or 4 problems that have popped up solely because of the datacenter. Everything will be fixed tomorrow night between 9pm-11pm eastern. When things go down, they should only be down for about 20 minutes while the datacenter rewires.

Awesome, and I assure you all you’ll love this feature. It’s the best thing added to FFR in the entire thing I’ve been here, well, maybe not as good as MP/reverse, for me.=)

Well, I can load SOME songs… its pretty weird…
Like a token song and a dance2 song I’d never played before…
But then songs like the 8th token song and that new onions song won’t load

Yay. My FFR has actually worked for the most part, besides a few songs here and there. I am getting antsy to play those songs that won’t load though.
