Valentines Day SponCon!

A day that brings about thoughts of love, togetherness, flowers and candy. So here at FFR we’ve decided to let you guys have a go at making something special to grace the site for this special occassion.
Using the the current logo/header as a size guide, create your very own valentines day themed logo for ffr! Standard sort of rules regarding what material is permitted on the site apply, but the size must remain 362×108 pixels. You may use any programs/medium that you’d like (no .gifs please, static images only), and any colour scheme as long as the site name is still present.

The winner will have their FFR logo used on EVERY page of the site for the complete span of Valentines day time zones
from 6am on the 13th, through to 6am on the 15th (-12GMT to +12GMT).
On top of that, the winning entry will gain themselves a pink/purple userbar in prochat for 7 days + 40,000 credits!
The runner-up will receive their choice of a pink/purple userbar for 3 days + 10,000 credits!
All other valid entries will receive a small credit prize for their contribution, and their names will appear on the front page when all the winners are announced!! So get designing, dazzle your fellow FFRians with your mad skills and feel the love!

FFR Shirts: To those of you who are wondering about your pre-ordered FFR T-Shirts, there has been a slight delay in the printing process due to a shortage of Anvil brand shirts on their part. The batch of shirts will be sent out Monday the 13th.

Message from CBR
I would like to thank all the artists who sent their tracks over the last few weeks to this compilation of music. I never thought we would receive the amount of submissions from all these talented and diverse artists on FFR, but to my surprise the community was very involved and active which I believe foreshadows greater things to come. With the advent of the official FFR Label artists and listeners alike can expect a great medium to hear new material and be heard.
Expect more releases in the near future and, most of all, enjoy!
P.S. Feel free to step any of the songs on this release for FFR!

The focus of the development team has been elsewhere in very important places for the last month, so this idea has not gained much ground. However, if there is enough support for this project then the team will attempt to give it a little more attention. For more information please visit the thread.

Longtime FFR user zajac‘s label Low Pass Records is releasing their album, the LPR001 Compilation LP, today. What’s more, FFR has been granted blanket permission to use songs off his label in the game… and what better way to celebrate the release of a new album here on FFR than to step the songs!

Some news of this week
Due to concerns that FFR did not contain enough winning, the skill token known as OMGWTFT0k3N has been replaced with a song that contains more winning. It also contains… well, unlock the token yourself to see exactly why this unique file is clearly full of winning.
The token requirement remains the same: Get a score of 2 Perfects, 4 Goods, 6 Averages, 8 Misses, 10 Boos, and 12 max combo on Excite Bike.
Some of you may have noticed another new level that has been added recently. Put into the game to be the "Division 7" song for the six-division Official Tournament that just ended, *Whimper Wall* clocks in at a solid 99 on FFR’s 1-13 difficulty scale… yeah. The steps are absurdly overdone to say the least.
Note that points scored on this file do not count for your grand total, and furthermore it will probably not be staying public forever. "Enjoy" it while you can…
In a final bit of news, token number 40, which rewards "You Gotta B-E-E-R!", has been activated recently.
To unlock it, simply get positive scores on all four of the other beer themed songs stepped by bmah.
