I just don't like the fuss over just one day, and in the back of my mind - I know they don't really care, so what's the point. . . . I'd rather just have a day in with my family and a couple of friedns, I'm not an optimist when it comes to my own birthday you see. Too much crap has happened over the course of my life for me to actually care anymore about a day that comes around once a year.
