More new subscriber features!

Posted in FFR News, Flash Flash Revolution, Game Announcements on February 2nd, 2008

Xelius is hard at work, as always, to bring to life everyone’s ideas. The newest feature on the subscriber version of the game is merely a letter… but it is so much more. In the upper left hand corner, next to the Quality Q is a Song Selection S. If you click on the S, it will bring up a giant scrollable list of all songs in FFR… each one playable via a single click. Currently, the songs are listed in reverse order by reverse genre (hardest songs in Misc first, easiest songs in Dance last). This will be resolved tomorrow, but we couldn’t wait to get this feature live for everyone to test out.

And for everyone else, we understand you’re getting jealous. Do not fear! Many of these feature will become public in the very near future.

    Could just be me…

  4. nieceeeeee 4th btw

  5. um fourth???

  6. I noticed a problem with this. ANY SONG CAN BE PLAYED including secret songs you don’t have the credits for.

  7. Sweet. This would help…

  8. maybe with this new thing put the songs alphabetically orderd might be easier for people to find songs

  9. omg ily Xelius X3

  10. nice

  11. Just in time, I was about sick and tired of going to Playdoh all the time, which is the song I’m whoring XD
Excellent, Xelius. There really isn’t anything you can’t code. Matrix is on the list, I’m sure ;)

  12. YES!~

  13. Pretty cool feature, glad I’m subscribing this week.

  14. awesome :D

  15. thx xelius

  16. yea a lot of jealous 16

  17. Great! I loved Shihen and Blue Noah.

    Nice Job!

  18. Alphabetical plz and thx

  19. So by near future do you mean like the beta level reader?

  20. OOOOOOOOH! ;) Thanks.

  21. Nice nice. That’s worth my 40$.

  22. It should be in Alphabetical Order?

  23. Yeah..as much as I love that I can play any and all songs….having not gotten them the right way feels kind of…..wrong lol.

  24. omg im starting to hate ffr

  25. wow this sucks

  26. cough cough*distant*cough cough

  27. love it, cant wait to see what else Xelius has for us.

  28. Nice, btw I joined the blue team.

  29. Do not make it public too soon, there has to be a reason for paying 3 bucks a month. Just having your name highlighted isn’t worth it.

  30. calcium we are testers thats good enough, we get to try everything first thats well worth 3 bucks, if what we are testing works fine theres no need to keep it from the public.

  31. I agree with comment #22

  32. sweet mama! okay now i can stop complaining about have to search throught the list again!

  33. i agree with comment #22 also with the alphabetized list next to the name should be what genra and the difficulty #
    e.g Fantasia (Hip-Hop, 8)
Fantastic Gentleman (Rock,5)….so on and so forth, what do ya think?

  34. the smile was supposed to be the number eight.

  35. as i said… xelius whipped this up tonight, we’ll be refining it tomorrow.

  36. cool idea i didn’t see it suggested though

  37. nice feature lol

  38. I noticed it earlier today and was like ohshiii.
    Real nice. ;D

  39. A search box would be awesome, but that’s just a suggestion =)

  40. Im a subscriber and I dont see this feature.

  41. It should probably be shifted down a bit so the Q and S aren’t in the way. I also agree with 33, but maybe in a nicer format. Of course, if you didn’t change it at all it’d be a nice feature, but I wouldn’t really use it.

  42. I’m starting to think 3rd Style is being released progressively… Either way this is great :)

  43. WOOOT?!

  44. thats actually pretty nifty for MP, now we wont have to tell where songs are, thanks for this addon. C:

  45. haha all you nonsubbies are getting raped

  46. Yay! :)

  47. NOT FAIR, everyone is agreeing with comments 22 and 33, why don;t you guys check comment 18, cuz I mentionned it first :(

  48. ill agree w/ you EnR…

  49. I don’t have a subscription, but here’s my $0.02, perhaps the S should open up a list of genres, then you point at a genre and get the list of songs in that genre.

    I agree with comment 18. =P

  50. more envying for me i guess :(

  51. I think it should either be alphabetized, or if you double click the song (or something), it should be put into your favorites, and then you can select it in the new favorites genre that xelius would put in. :)

  52. Yey i love being a subscriber :D

  53. i want a subscribtion and yes i cant stop complaining about waiting because that is something im not good at thats why i need someone to get me a gift subscription for one year plz!!!!!!!!!!

  54. jealousy killed the cat

  55. know what would be sweet? a song search right above the list, so you type the song name and it shows up

  56. i can play Blue Noah and i previously had 31,000 credits, but after i played it and some other songs, i got boosted up to 8 million credits!!!!

  57. @Catpretense — Wtf?

I love having subscriber status <3 1 year, whoo!

  58. Well, since everyone apperntly enjoys being a subby i migh just see abou joining i too..but i still dont see the benifits..as in the song search, that would make it easy to find the songs, but think about it thatsa LONG list of songs…a song-search engine would be better..im not flameing the idea at all,im just saying that since FFR has so many songs, that it would be much easyer to have a song search, same way you can do a “find this” on a text file. And yeah…us non-subbys are geting promised alota stuff but it never really gets here. v.v

  59. If over 2 weeks is your idea of “very near future” for us non-subbers, then I may need to get a subscription soon.

  60. somthing i would like to say…. thank you for getting rid of those stupid avg misses but one more thing could help us all out :] THE BACK GROUNDS!!!! those are so annoying and they are the ones that cause us to not see arrows and miss or get a good.. ;.; i cant AAA zelda because of that background or v4
