Since after that scenario we're down a seer, guardian has no one to guard, so the spirit reveals himself to the thread (if desired to be human) and guard guards him while all humans collaborate on who to revive (most likely the seer).

That works I suppose. I've been in games where that's happened, so it's better to lynch both, at least then you know you got at least one.

I'd think it'd be easier to help the humans. The wolf shouldn't be as trusting, the spirit could easily just find the wolf and then stab him in the back, revealing him to everyone in the thread.

So pick one and hope you get the seer, and not the wolf? Sounds rather dicey to me, but doesn't look like you'd have much of a choice in the matter.

But how does the spirit know who is a wolf for sure? No wolf would instantly confirm himself to an unconfirmed spirit who might be a traitor.

IMO, it'd be much harder to ally with a wolf. You'd be hard pressed to find a wolf in their right mind who'd come right out and admit their wolfishness.

I don't think we should be so trusting of the spirt anyway, couldn't the spirt just as easily side with the wolves?

The spirit could easily team up with wolves if his conversation went something like this:

"hey im spirit"
"wow cool im a wolf let's team up"
"cool k"

same applies to blues. and everyone masks as a human. Nobody can be fully trusted.

remember that the spirit holds the bargain chip. They decide who to go to, not the other way around. I'm sure that after a couple of deaths the spirit can pull off a level of commitment with either group through a resurrection or two. That's why the gravekeeper is there as well. One group will get the spirit, the other will get the gravekeeper. If one group succesfully keeps both then it's a definite win for that faction.

But edu's right though, if the spirit and the gravekeeper go the the wolves the wolves have a possible 7 man alliance, and they can win tommorow night on a bad safety.

Just have to hope they don't go to that side.

the amounts of blind trust that will be put into play will be astounding. The spirit will look to ally with someone. Niether team should look for the spirit. The wolves would risk themselves as a team (plus they don't have a seer). The humans could easily 'seer' him by not getting results.. but then the 1/6 psychic bull**** could screw us. Imagine seering a wolf and not getting a result.

I don't think it's quite likely for them to all team up on the first night, so we don't need to worry about that scenario.

I kind of hope each one goes to the other side, will make things significantly more interesting and keep the game going longer and better.
