As Siki pointed an accusing finger at Aya, her midsection suddenly ballooned out a bit.
And for the first time in her "life", she was speechless.
Kaguya sneered. "Oh, great, this is just what we need. Another immortal nag."
"Uh, Miss Yama? I think it might be in your best interests to head back to Higan now..." Alice said.
"I suppose you are correct. While this sudden biological change will not affect my clear-cut judging capacity, I doubt there is more I can do for you all here. I probably owe Komachi an apology as well, this is not exactly the most comfortable condition to be in, and she has to stand up a lot while doing her job. Perhaps blindly declining her maternity leave was a bit harsh. Ah well, live and learn. I bid you all farewell, and good luck solving this mystery." Siki then left for whence she came.
Once she was out of earshot, Yukari spit on the ground. "Good grief! I thought she'd never leave. Maybe now my ears don't have to worry about falling off."
