by the way the one convo i had with talis he came off to me as very human... i didn't save it but he the way he was talking to me about how he was approaching things it felt like it's not anytihng a wolf would do

"What? No! You lounge around and do nothing enough as it is. Sloth is one of the seven deadly sins, you know. And now that I think about it, why are you still here doing nothing? You need to keep ferrying those spirits across the river or we'll have a tremendous amount of backlog again and the whole world will have another one of those flower incidents again and I don't want to deal with that headache a second time. Now get back to work, and maybe if you keep it up for longer than 10 minutes in succession we can talk about maternity leave afterward!"

"Kyan!" Komachi ran off in fright (as fast as she could run, anyway), Siki waving her judging tag after her.

"My apologies for the interruption, though it seems I may end up being the next target if your theory is correct, tengu. Either Kaguya or myself appear to be the best candidates at this point. While I sincerely doubt anyone has the magical prowess to impregnate me of all beings, I would appreciate not having to find out the hard way. Shall we continue your investigation?"
