You're all over the place with Benguina here and I'm trying to decide if your reasoning here is so fragmented (in comparison to most of your other reads) because he is your brother or because of some other lurking reason. You jumped from power role, to no one is sure at all, to a red lean all in the span of that analysis.

You're points on Tiloco are fair, honestly the majority revolve around him just having many posts. I will say he's posting an acceptable amount, even if he's at the *most* posts. There are other games where at this stage, people may have hundreds of posts haha. Would you be willing to go into more explanation about some of his ideas in those posts instead of just focusing on the volume of them?

And really, the most anemic read I've seen probably throughout this game, would like if you maybe dug a bit deeper here as well.

Looking at your most recent responses to others you just quoted, about four of your answers were simply you asking a very short question right back at the person, without any explanation. At this point I'm a bit worried that you simply responded out of a general urgency since a lot of people have been mentioning they're suspicious, so you're trying to placate them.

Page 6 - I find it *cough* funny that tiloco gave fg a green read for being trolly. Honestly in my past experience with funnygirl, she is harder to read than Leviticus backwards in hebrew (lol biblical jokes). I know I should say anything like this, but if I were cop, she wouldn't be a bad see, but who's asking me anyways, just a thought. I'm curious as to how tiloco feels on me now. Also I agree that I like that red is speaking up a good bit.
Page 7 - I tried looking at it but I think I just can't find it. Why was fg voting tiloco a complete 180 trev (I probably missed something so pls help me find it). I still feel odd about red saying "Nobody picked up on my softing." It might be best to just leave it be, though. I hope he was talking about being a toaster. Once again, my vote on red was a reaction test, something that I've tried to pull off in the past, but I clearly need a lot more work with it.
Page 8 - Wow way to call me a tetrahedra of the tasteless kind, why don't you add me to the heap. Also for the record, I didn't see how he formatted it because e-mail, but that doesn't matter at all lmfao. Don't read into this but I just realized when red quoted trev and me, I saw me being scared god dammit I need to stop that. >_>.
Page 9 - Ben, I've confused myself too... Riot I don't see how asking for reasoning is suspicious. Why do you think red is "off" trev?
Page 10 - I really don't like riot's little emotional speech there at all. Leaning really red right now.
Page 11 - I don't wanna be making excuses but I wasn't really here because orthodontist appointment and then jazz band thing happened yadda yadda stuff that really doesn't matter to this game. I'll be trying to be a lot more active from tomorrow on out. I think ben looks a bit rushed because a) he has a considerable amount of tension on him and b) he's been gone for quite a while so I think he's trying to get all he thinks out in time, just my opinion on your read jteh. Also I don't know how I didn't notice this when I read the reads that riot gave whereever he posted, but I'm curious how he feels about me right now. Any thoughts you have is information riot, so spurt it out (lol coming from me). Also I got my answer about how tiloco feels about me now. If anything, my biggest mistake that gave me the majority of the tension was I fucked up on trying to pull off a reaction vote, and I didn't stick with my gut. Is this really a wolfy thing to do or just an attempt from a more inexperienced player trying to pull of a technique?
Page 12 - I know I'm trying, I need to work on self confidence and that in turn will help with me not getting defeatist attitude. I didn't expect me to actually make this at the time of posting that in the shower.

==15 minutes remain oh shit oh shit==

As the above may not seem very helpful to the game, it's just how I felt reading through the game again. My number one red lean is riot. Nothing about trying to be buddy buddy with people but trevor is green because he's been legitimately trying to get stuff out of me (thanks for that actually btw, if I live through this phase, I'm feeling a lot better about twg atm haha). I also like Melissa based on the tone and effort that she has seemed to put in the posts that have substance. Anyways, I need to go to bed, I don't have 10 minutes to spare and my mom will be pissed if she realizes I'm awake. Best of luck.

I understand that you were pressed for time with this post, but I feel this stream of consciousness is recap of everything that's happened in the game with some recycled commentary and reasoning. You have used so many ideas I've seen in other people's posts.

Also the most important details I was digging for here is why you fell on your decision of Riotpolice and the very first mention of it is your description on page 10 where you just mention you don't like the emotional speech, but then go on to start talking about other's opinions again instead of getting your own ideas out on your decision as you needed.

I don't think I jumped on riot, I'm pretty sure I expressed some red lean on him earlier, if not, I guarantee I thought it.... What he did stuck out to me as wolfy in my own opinion, and that's what I felt strongest in. If I knew how riot played, then wouldn't that make me have a better read on him anyways ergo making my red lean even if it was based on gut as well a little more viable?
Again, you have a great opportunity here to discuss exactly why you voted on riot and your reasoning extends as far as "what he did", but it's left so open ended that I can't decide what you mean. Do you just mean that he became emotional because for all of this posting and great chances to talk about specifically what he did, you never make clear enough statements to convince me that you had solid reasoning. I can see why someone may even go far enough to say you "jumped" on him because between stream of consciousness and this, I still feel you didn't successfully bridge that gap in reasoning.

I've been fairly quiet and you did respond to a bit of what I had to say about Ben, but now I have a few more ideas and would like you to go further than this as well. Also, I could further note that you had riotpolice in a red pile for a reason I feel riot should've been in a green pile. Is this the "personal interpretation" you were alluding at earlier with choosing whether people are town or mafia?

Here's something I'd like to ask you. Have you seen any players with very weird interactions/moments that may indicate that they couldn't possibly be a team? Even further, could you include yourself in that. Is there anything you've done that you feel is so offbeat that should deserve some merit?

this is Trev's reasoning and not yours. I want to know why, along with being interesting, would these also be your top red lean.

It doesn't have to be agonizing torture at all. In this game, you should just let yourself be bold enough to make mistakes. No one ever gets *too* salty in my experience and usually we just all have a laugh at everything. It's all a learning experience.

Funnygurl as stated above, clearly human due to nightkill. Was she a pr? It's too hard to tell and isn't worth the guesswork at this point. We should move forward assuming she was a VT.

Jteh I'm liking what I am seeing from him, we have a few people we are very similarly stanced on, now I'd like to see more from him. His posting is dramatically decreased from the usual, but he's stated reasons why. Giving him a solid town read.

T-Force I'm still on the fence with how I feel about you. You are either super town or super wolf and it's really annoying that I'm having trouble deciding on which way I want to lean yet. I don't want you lynched this phase as you have been fairly active and at least appear to be scum hunting. Gonna give a null-ish green lean.

Benguino I do appreciate the effort you put into the wall of posts you made today, I don't really have much else to say about Ben unfortunately. I need to reread most of his interactions a bit later to see why he's the consensus wolf lynch for today. Null for me until I reread.

Tiloco meh.. his game is very similar to the last jtwg where he was wolf. He's one of my red leans currently as I don't really like that him simply asking questions as elementary as he is, but yet being widely viewed as town. I also don't like the pocketing of T-Force that he consistently has been doing..even T-Force pointed it out. Add to that his overall bossyness(?) which is just rubbing me the wrong way.So idk..red.

Danceflashrevo I had some issues with DFR early on with his vote on me and the easy unvote, but I don't really think that was too game changing of an action. I would actually like to see you post some more in-depth reads when you get the chance. Green.

Melissa she's my biggest red lean at this point. We've still yet to see really anything substantial from her and she only ever posts when prompted to, despite lurking from time to time. She'd be the person I want gone the most right now unless something dramatically changes before end of phase. Red.

        If I forgot you you're null :/

I'm not going to try wrapping my head around the probabilities you mention (1. I did too much math today and 2. Every time I do that I just think of Mashi bs'ing stats)

I agree with the sentiment about T-force here that he probably shouldn't be a lynch target this phase, however I'm not sure I share your general paranoia of him. He's generally scum hunting, building camaraderie in the thread, consistent and responsive, etc. Don't get me wrong, I wear my own tinfoil hats too, but for this, I feel I lean more town here.

benguina's wall of posts are pretty comprehensive and I'm a fan of the activity myself. Maybe I find myself a little intimidated to pick a lot of it apart, and if I do read too much into the lines, that's a LOT of lines to be misreading. *sigh* his effort is admirable, but wouldn't be sure where to place him.

I think Tiloco actually has me more alarmed now that his "bossyness" lol as you put it has subsided a little bit here. It was alright in the very opening phases but now I feel it's not as strong. My gut tells me that he opened very strong (and THIS was different place from his other jtwg) but now I get a sense of him settling more into that old game play again.

I definitely want to see more opinions from dfr, both responses and self-generated about people he hasn't touched too much on.

If we could draw a graph with the level of "okay" I have been with Melissa it would simply be the equation y = -x. She started out very earnest and making posts I felt were gauging the game and now I think she's just mechanically responding back. She still wouldn't be my top red lean at the moment though.

And Red, after the soft claims, weird post about you coming out as medic and then retracting, I am not sure I will be in a world that wants to lynch you this phase.

I'm putting my vote on dfr right now because I'm just not convinced at the moment.

Re: jTWG LXXI: Harry Potter and the Rise of the Wolves - Game Thread

In response to people saying I have quieted down you need to look at the game more. Information is hardest to get on day 0 because there is no previous info and there are more players then at any other point in the game. Our day 0 was even less helpful because almost nothing happened so when we got to the last day I went ham to get as much info as I could. In the next night phase my play really didn't change much from what it is now, I just made it more funny by acting like the boss of the game. That's something that will just get annoying if I continued it so I went back to my normal game of just asking questions when needed. Today many different players have gotten out a lot of info so my questions weren't quite as needed. The only ones who hadn't really spoken up when I went to bed were Jteh and Melissa who both had said they were going to come back so it is better to wait and see if they keep that promise. Jteh would most likely respond as both alignments but Melissa might just try to skim by (although I didn't really like what she came back with).

In short I haven't needed to be as active as I had to be day 0 and I expect that as the number of players dwindle activity will become more and more evenly spread and I will return to how I played last game of just being a part of the discussion instead of driving it.

Have to go to school but I will respond to what Melissa and Jteh said when I get a chance

I am not a fan of what Melissa did there. It seemed like she was trying to mimic my play and in theory there is nothing wrong with that but the way she was doing it was weird. 3 of the 4 questions she asked have already been answered in the thread (the only question I thought was good was the one directed at J-teh. I am more concerned with your opinions right now. If you want to be active and ask questions that is great but you need to give your opinions first.

I like Jteh. I liked the way that he analyzed both Melissa and DFR with a mix of points for or against them and questions directed at them to gain more information. The only comments I have is that almost everyone has had the same read on you so why is it weird coming from Melissa? Also the most information ben has given to this game has been that page so I understand you being scared of analyzing it but you need to do it anyways.

I realized that I hadn't responded to DFR. His reads on Jteh and Melissa felt very awkward to me. It seemed like with Jteh he brought up reasons that Jteh should be mafia and then decided to call him town anyways because... he wanted to? With Melissa it felt like you were trying to sheep the reads that have been going around on her without incriminating yourself too much.

I would like to know which opinions from reuben you thought were "in the right place"

Ok so I'm on my phone on a loud bus on the way to an extension campus, so typos, weird order of posting, etc. And if I miss something, just like.. yell at me about it and I'll get to it when I get home.

I thought my red lean on jteh was very weak and in recent light, I've had a hard time convincing my self that he's red.

At Melissa, my top wolf is you, I thought I said that. I thought funny was a wolf because she had some heavy waffling happening. Her reads were so inconsistent. I'm still really not sure why she was the wolf kill.

About the riot thing, I'll try to expand a bit on it. In epic mafia, or at least the games that I played with him, day 0 was literally nothing unless there was a gunsmith or a cop got a red check. Literally nothing is said and then it goes to a no vote. Then after two night kills, there are five people left. Here a cop usually gets a red check or there's some sort of claim, etc. shit I have to go now, posting what I have. Will finish at home. Also I have jazz today so awkward timing yahgghh

                    Why are you here?

Ok I can continue for a bit now. So five people left. Usually at this point there's a claim or a red check by a cop. If there's not, you just kinda talk it out and make the best lynch. If there's a mislynch, then mafia wins. If you hit a mafia, play continues to final three, the longest of all the phases usually. And I think this is what he's most used to.

Based on epic mafia meta, he was really wolfy. He didn't say much at all, some times he just checked in to put a vote without reasoning on someone and left, really weird contradictions with what he says, and simply refusing to say anything.

Based on live twg meta, slight town read. He in live said that he was a late game player and doesn't have much to say d0. I don't think he had a wolf game in live twg so I can't really have wolf meta for him. But if we compare to his town live twg game, there aren't too many differences.

                      Why are you here?

We aren't at lynch and lose yet. 5 humans 2 wolves..even if we mislynch we'd still be at 3 humans 2 wolves then we'd be at mylo.

Regarding the seer, granted that I was blocked last night they got a seer, so either they seered a town and don't want to out that information just yet or they are dead. It'd actually be nice for them to claim now as we'd have confirmed seer, the seer target and then the two confirmed dead players for four confirmed towns. That'd certainly narrow down our potential lynch pool, but it's really more of a last resort strategy.

He was talking about epic mafia games not this one

I don't think that seer should out with a green unless they or their green check are about to get lynched.
