Okay, I'm sorry to have to shit on you one last time, but let me explain why this was the WORST possible move you could've made.
Having played as a Roleblocker Wolf once before (Son of the Return of jTWG), and as a host (Flash Squadron), wolves DON'T ACTUALLY KNOW IF THEIR ROLEBLOCK WORKS.

Thanks to what you said there, not only does it out you as a blue role, it also gives the wolves the freedom to search for their next block target (AKA the seer) while being able to kill you.

If you don't mention this, they still have no idea that their block goes through, and are still left to ponder if you're actually the medic or not.

But now we're left without a medic because there's no way you're going to survive tonight, and we're also down one more town.
Life is simply unfair... Don't you think?

Funny thing is, I'm actually vt. I got a notice I was roleblocked in the night and decided to post about it to see what it drummed up, judging by the lack of a counter it'd seem as if the medic either a. hasn't checked the thread yet or b. was fg or rp.

Also I just pieced something together about Riot, he said he'd give us more in-depth reads on D2. Is this a soft at him being the seer and getting info in the night? Please tell me our seer isn't dead right off the bat.

DFR you have been popping in and out of the thread quite a lot and not speaking. What is your opinion of funnygurl's death? What do you think of reuben now that he has a full page of the thread dedicated to him? What do you think about red's medic thing?

Thoughts: he picked up on something's in my post (like how it could be possible that we have a very chatty wolf), I expected him to post alot after my response so I can't say that I am surprised.

            Its morning...too early for thought...

Is this all we're going to get from you? It's "too early"? Plenty of stuff has happened that you should have some sort of opinion on it by now.
              Melissa

I feel like she's doing bare minimum and somehow still getting the consensus human lean. Answering only when prompted to, and even then it's mostly useless information.

You seem very ok with seeing riotpolice as green. How did you feel about him wanting to withheld information D2?

As for your slight lean on me, I do feel a bit rushed. But I think that's primarily because of what I said earlier regarding loltimezones and my general posting style. I end up having to read through and try to do some analysis in "large chunks" and then I have all these ideas at once and it's hard to consolidate them well. From the perspective of town though, I would think that too many thoughts (even if slightly jumbled) is better than too little (or no thoughts).

You seem to be a bit quieter this game compared to last, I'd like to hear an update on your reads list and who you'd like to possibly see gone tonight.
Hey, reading through the thread right now you guys. I'll respond to this since it's directed at me and will also give me the chance to post a lot of ideas revolving around my answers as well. Hoping to incorporate many thoughts into here and then finish off the rest of my stuff when I get a break at around 7pm EST tonight.

You're right that I didn't have Melissa too much on my radar during the end of the phase, in fact she was honestly slipping off my radar altogether until her last set of interactions with you. I've looked over your interactions with her (sibling rivalry hehehe) and I feel at any rate, if she's trying to push her way back into the open with thoughts, it's very well done. I did realize during her downtime that she was quiet, but now that I'm actually back home and have a chance to reply, I don't think she's someone I'd be worrying about just at this moment. There are only a few really extreme comments she makes that worries me a bit (during her reads?) and I'll address those a bit later on.

Withholding information on D2? I think you're stretching what he actually intended to say. I was of the opinion that at the current moment, he wasn't able to drum up enough reads on people. He was being forced to do something that I don't think he really wanted to do/was capable of doing comfortably. His promise to give us more information probably means that in future phases when more concrete actions have been made he could be more helpful. Either way you look at it, whether he was softing at being seer (this was mentioned) or just a green rolling over and dying (also mentioned) I'm not sure how that helps discussing now. But how I FELT about it is that he was green and genuinely frustrated in the position he was in and that he was unable to produce something substantial to help us out. I encourage anyone to go read through his posts again, because I feel he signaled a lot of frustration that I feel would be hard to contrive.

With regard to the way you're approaching posting, I can understand the feeling of rushed. (lmao 6-8 hr work days, some ending near eod with other stuff here) However, I still will not use that as a reason to exonerate you for your approach to using "too many details". I feel you are someone who should know that when you're constructing an argument, you want a list of premises that all logically follow to some sort of conclusion, which in this instance is the push you want to make on your vote. While you didn't nearly go for the whole "stream of consciousness final 15 minutes before lynch" approach, this is what I see from you:
You overloaded with details, (can be helpful to see you're paying attention) and then you completely disregard most of it to base your direction on someone else. THAT lack of cohesion to me feels like you predetermined who you want to vote anyways, and didn't clue in the reader at all while presenting your analysis. That's why I'm getting on you. You can throw out all details you want, yes, but I want to see your mind working towards a clear conclusion.

Quieter this game is the consensus I've been seeing in this thread, lmao. Certainly you guys aren't wrong, my schedule sort of has been kicking my ass. Still, I HATE making excuses, and I hate even more when excuses are made and then absolutely no effort is given. I don't want to appear that way because I genuinely do want to help out and make a great impact.

I will follow later with updated reads as requested sometime around 7pm. It may be from my phone in my car but still rofl. I'll do my best with what I have.

DFR is seeming very scummy to me but for that to be the case I have to be wrong on riot. I am going to look back through the last few pages with the perspective of riot being town and see if that changes my opinion of anyone when I have time. Probably not going to happen for a while though

Sure~ Finishing up reading his more recent posts now. Here are some of my thoughts:

There is a post Benguina dedicated to the fact why his post count may not be as high as anyone else. This seems fine to me, especially the manner in he presented it. (Of course I don't expect Ben to ever be salty lol) but it just seems like a heads up to everyone. Am I too sympathetic for being in a similar situation with my schedule, hm~

Following, Benguina makes a post discussing the divide on Riotpolice, which is fairly pertinent to a lot of the discussion that's been happening recently that I've read. However, it is a VERY convenient way to get that vote count up and appear to generate a lot of organic discussion. Addressing this is fairly decent and I'm even willing to give a few townie-brownie points (keeping the over caveat in mind) because he isn't jumping all over riotpolice... at first? Benguina does make a pretty convoluted argument based on activity that could be summarized in a few sort sentences.

His read on you is "fairly" close to mine as well in the next posts following. He points out that you say you are the self-proclaimed "towniest" town, but then goes a little further than I would at this point by saying you're generating a huge facade to appear town. There is a really good point in here though that you DID mention very early that you enjoy this style of play a lot better than your first forum game, which implies that you're actively trying to post this way instead of an old way you did the previous game. Even I caught on to that post about you saying you're changing the way you're playing and enjoy it this game which creates another mini mind meld with Ben. Ben's post is pretty good and I like this one the most for it's uninhibited logic and thought process.

More posts include his fair confidence that Fg was just a very confident town and that's why she was killed. Benguina has been pretty hesitant in his choices for votes so far. He's picked people who have not a lot of controversy on them. He even quickly rescinded the vote on Melissa after just a few short posts, so being pretty confident about fg signals a bit of a flip flop, but again this is in retrospect. Essentially everyone felt good about fg so that could be why he's pretty sure on that.

That's the hardest part of this forum game that I somehow cannot grasp. I've played a few TWG games, I would have thought by now I could make myself look town, but NO.

I do just fine in Epic Mafia, I know how to give myself town points when it comes to a 3-way with no clears. But for some no-god-given-reason, here, I have so much trouble giving myself town points I end up retracting to just giving up and giving you all the 'ol: "I'm town. Go look somewhere else thing." I don't know what else to do. Maybe it's the fact that I have to go reread everything that I dislike about this game. Maybe it's that I don't grasp enough knowledge to see a wolf when it's right in front of me. I don't know. I think that's enough information from me tonight.
I see some of the things I've bolded that give way to impassioned/uncalculated posting which leans town for me. You don't consciously type of this post and then throw in the weird qualifiers that he did to mask some ulterior motive. I feel this post would be the most indicative if you were to go searching back again.
