    Rhythm Horizon sounds questionable but that's for another thread.
    tbh i dont know the difference between sm-ssc and sm5, and i cant speak for 6k players, but no serious 4k player plays on vanilla sm5 anymore already; there's no element of hope involved

    it's either etterna or 3.95

    what mwes was hinting at is that the vanilla devs are so hopeless that this fork might as well be the official build (for 4k kb)

    pad has itg and rhythm horizon so all the vanilla repo is good for now is a laugh

    also for those wondering there are a huge amount of changes/additions upcoming which include a total rework of the profile save and replay system to facilitate an online stats tracker/leaderboard upload

    its gonna be a while to get all the bugs out tho

    Hey I'd just like to give a shoutout to the guys working on developing this project because you all are fucking amazing. Being able to filter for a specific difficulty range for specific pattern types and having a working search function on top of that is like all I could ever ask for. Wife is great, the
    timing graph in the results screen is quality and the ingame calculator is, while impossible to perfect, brilliant in its own regard.

    Thanks for making the last few [Current Year]s awesome.

    @blindreper1179
    I think Till Death the only(or one of the only) themes with some degree of support for online and almost all the same functions it has offline online. And a bunch of stuff that was made possible by editing the source(Like chat scrolling, hiding the chatbox(Thanks to this it can use the same tab system as the offline screen) and displaying a theme controlled user list).

    Second question: Is the lag caused by this basically because of sm5, or because of having not the best pc? Like can I compensate for it with overpowered hardware
    Yes, if you screenshot without missing any notes there should not be an issue. The lag associated with taking screenshots comes from the fact that compressing the image is done in the game loop, rather than another thread. Depending on whether or not you take a PNG or JPG screenshot, it will take around 30-200+ milliseconds causing that very obvious lag spike. High end hardware like mine can reduce this, but because CPU power has stagnated over the past 10 years it doesn't make that much of a difference. Ex. Takes half the time to take the screen shot.
