My PS2 broke awhile ago so I couldn't play GH2. So I sold GH3 and bought GH2 for the 360 (nobody's bought my GH2 yet, everyone's getting rid of their PS2's).

I'm amazed at how much better I've gotten through playing voxtar on Rock Band (it makes me have to concentrate less on guitar, so that when I'm only playing guitar I have much better focus and ability). I'm 5-starring songs I never could before and FCing solos that used to be blurs of gems. I never could understand the verses in TLTB, for example, but on my first time playing it in god knows how long I FCed a verse, then I nailed Thunderhorse, a song I always loved but never could score well on.

Needs more pads. And a better placed/tilt dedicated hat. And a floor tom

I like to hear the velocity thing for music creation though. Nice touch. Too bad that the sound a drum or cymbal makes is also dependent on WHERE it is struck, not just how hard. Meh... I hope that the velocity sensor is extended to the cymbals and it will be able to tell the difference between tapping it and crashing through it.

I disagree, the velocity is completely awesome, and the fact they actually made it so the cymbals are higher is awesome. I can't wait. Though it is true it could use more pads, but still.

Got my Log in GH2 today

I still have Six, Jordan, and Less Talk More Rokk to 5*. Six will take work for the whole thing, Jordan I have still yet to pass lol, and I can't do ascending scales so LTMR will be pretty tough.

So uhh, I just registered today after knowing about this site for years now and lurking it on occasion. If you go to SH, you probably know me, I'm USSJGotenks there as well.

Anyway, I FCed Sam's Solo on slow today after about 15 minutes of practice, but the strumming after the trills rapes me everytime gah.

p.s. Tibs, bad score for -1 in solo. Still beats mine, it's by far my worst song in GH period.

hey shash, what's your rank on guitar hero right now? I hear you're really good. Anyways, prolly the best thing I could brag about is i'm like 20-30th best on PSN, but that's not really saying anything because hardly anyone has PS3. I bet me and Tibs are the only ones in this thread lol.

I got -2 on Institutionalized's verse 2D today, and -4 on 1C of it aswell. Only two sections I haven't FCed of the song gah. So maybe FC soon? I'm pretty consistent with verse 3 as a whole besides 3E in it heh.

Shash got from no rank to rank 12 on Xbox 360 in about a week.

To get an XBL/PSN comparison, Tibs would be about rank 1200 on Xbox Live, judging by how good he is.

I pretty much stopped playing GH2 regularly after 5*ing Free Bird expert. 5*d most of expert, had about 10 songs left.
