So i have a math question in regards to calculating the reroll pack. Currently, there is a 37.22% chance a card will have to be re-rolled. Does this mean the odds of getting stuck with a Tier 1 or 2 Card after the reroll is (.3722)^2, or 13.69%?

Edit:// If my math is correct, the reroll pack is outclassed by the silver pack in every situation and would need a buff of some sort

Balance Changes -

After doing some math, the expected value of a couple packs weren't quite in line with where I'd like them to be. Nothing is getting nerfed, but a few are getting buffed. Here are the changes -

Blue Pack - Max Drop Tier Moved From 7 to 8
Bronze Pack - Max Drop Tier Moved From 7 to 8
Horde Pack - Max Drop Tier Moved From 8 to 9

While the utility of getting extra cards has the downside of a lower expected value from the pack (and still will after these changes), the difference won't quite be as stark as before. Before, the Tier 3 Horde Pack had little more expected value than a standard pack. It still holds true that the more cards you get in a pack, the lower the expected value of the pack is.

Gamble Plus - Minimum Value raised from 2 to 3 when pulling an odd numbered card.

The upside to pulling an even numbered card from a Gamble Plus pack is great - it offers a significant boost of expected value over that of a quality pack. The downside, though, was so low, it brought the expected value of the pack well below other tier 3 packs. Now it gives like a Tier 4 pack (if we had those) if you pull an even numbered card, and drops like a Tier 2 pack if you pull an odd. The expected value is still slightly below the Quality and Standard packs slightly but hey, it's a gamble.

I still have my eye on the re-roll pack, but I don't know what to do about it. It's too similar to the silver pack, but a hair worse in ever scenario. Buffing its reroll tier would give it too much value. I'll just leave it out there as is, it's not too much less value than the silver pack, but it will always be inferior to it.

The genre achievements are juicy but like, I dunno, credits are meh and I don't really care about fighting over them so I'll just become a master collector instead.
