TWG 208: SIGN-UPS
Hello fellow FFR TWGers! This is my first time hosting a game, so please be gentle. This will be an 11 players game in which everyone has power roles. In the voting thread, I gave general information about what kind of roles to expect, but here is the exact private posts players will receive upon game start. It goes without saying that this is a tremendous amount of information to learn and memorize just for one game of werewolf. You obviously will not be asked to do that, and in fact here's a compact TLDR paragraph that explains every single role dynamic in this game concept. You are free to refer to it and discuss it as much as you want through the game (and I encourage you to). Machias: Checks alignment. Dies if visits armed Laura. Gaius: Watches himself every night and MUST name the player he was informed about in the first post of the next day. Has a one-shot vigilante bullet (vulnerable to Laura), doing it cancels emcee powers for the night. Laura: Eliminates anyone who visits at night (except Crow (if he's seducing only) and Rean, as well as Jusis) if she chooses to sleep with her sword. Immune to strongman kill (if her power is active). Jusis: Can jail if there is no lynch. During the night, can anonymously question the player before deciding their fate. If he is killed or roleblocked, the jailing still happens, but the killing is cancelled. Elliot: Protects the target (or dies to Laura). Cannot select the same target twice in a row. Cannot protect himself. Millium: Knows everyone's precise flip, taking her out wins the game for scum. Alisa: Can force unvote everyone and thunderdome the two players of her choice. (1 shot only) Crow: Roleblocks the target (including Laura, but not Rean). Fie: Knows if any scum-aligned player has been alignment checked by Machias. If she performs the kill, delays cardflip by a day (except Millium). May instead conceal a teammate's death (or her own) for a day. Emma: Forces a player to state their identity on the next day. This does not count as visiting. (2 shots only, not on consecutive nights, not on N1) Rean: Partners with another player of his choice and they both must survive until endgame to win (He joins the alignment of the chosen player as far as player count/alignment checking is concerned). One thing to mention: If Rean partners with Millium, Millium stays in the game if Rean is eliminated. Scum team: Has a single strongman hit (ignores all nightkill protection). While designing this game and making changes to ensure that it is balanced and viable, I went and gathered several opinions about it. There seemed to be one main misconception, so I will clarify it: You all need to be extremely careful about mass claiming and the role of this Jailor in this game. His protection is not meant to stack with the Medic very well. If you want the jailor to protect someone, you collectively need to decide not to lynch someone during the day. If you still decide to mass claim at some point in the game and lose because you misunderstood the mechanics in place, I don't want this to be on me, so I'm making it clear here. Other Game info: - Game starts on D1. - “No Lynch” is ON, but only IF the Jailor is alive. Also, until the jailor is removed from the game, lynches MUST be insta. "Having the most votes" will not result in a lynch. - If the Jailor is removed from the game, No Lynch is OFF, insta remains ON and knife in the box is ON as well. - Out of thread communication (outside of specific role perks) is forbidden. - 48 hours day phases, 24 hours night phases. - Failure to commit to some role duties may result in modkills. - Fake claiming, even pretending to follow host and role instructions, is a legal move. - Minimum posting will be enforced (no less than ~5 game relevant posts per day) - All 3 scum-aligned players can use their powers during the night, including the one performing the kill. - Scum-aligned players can stack powers onto the same target. - The nightkiller can only use his skill onto the person he is killing. - All other standard FFR TWG rules apply. - The scum team gets an a single-use strongman hit (ignores whatever prevents the kill). Win conditions: - Town wins if all scum are removed from the game (or nothing can prevent it). - Scum wins if the merlin is taken down. - Lover wins if they are alive with their partner at the end of the game. - If the last scum player is eliminated on the same night as the Merlin, this results in a draw. I've asked The Sun Fan to assist me with the hosting of this game, should it ever be necessary. The game will start within a few days (could be immediately after, but I am flexible) after the roster is complete and that there are at least 3 player reserves, although ideally I would want more reserves than this. - Players - 1: Hakulyte 2: MixMasterLar 3: _Zenith_ 4: T-Force 5: Dafty.Pixel 6: Lightknight924 7: Arp! 8: ToonE156 9: XelNya 10: mellonxcollie 11: Sourissette - Replacements - 1: Shadow_God_10 2: star-crossed 3: TheTrueXfish If you have any question, comment, suggestion or anything, I would appreciate if you did it before the game starts. **Important change** A way to solve the game way too early was found, so the scum team was given a single strongman hit. Sorry about that!
