    Official Anime of FFR Discussion

    We need one.

    What would it be?

    I'm primarily asking the people that matter. I'm not asking the mainstream anime fans that only / primarily watch dubs on Adult Swim and think they're hardcore anime fans.

    My vote is on Elfen Lied for now. I don't want to see anybody coming in here with "COWBOY BEBOP WAS TEH BESTST EVAR!!!" or "WTF SKEEQ Y U SO DUM RURONI KENSHIN WAS TEH WINAR!!!" The anime you pick has to be seen by most and enjoyed by those that have seen it.

    I'd like serious suggestions, please. Don't just post your favorite. Chances are it'll be completely unknown and nobody has seen it, or far too mainstream and everybody has seen it, but a lot of people didn't like it.

                      Big 4? If you are saying that there are only 4 really hardcore anime fans who actuallly know what they mean about anime, then sadly you are mistaken. Anyways. I'm gonna go ahead and go with Afro's choice. FLCL is too great an anime, and between FLCL and Elfen Lied, FLCL wins in my opinion.

                                      Big 4. The 4 people that watch a whole crapload of anime that most other people do not see.

                                      Obviously that's Kefit and Moogy for starters. Kefit got me started on it. There's 3. I still don't know whether or not Tsutter sees more than Kilga. It's questionable.

                                      Of course I know that Chardish, Guido, Chromer, Afro, Vash, HVAM, etc. watch anime. I didn't say you were all mainstream. I said I think we watch more.

                                      The mainstream ones can be found in "Your favorite animes" and "Worst Animes". They are the ones saying "Kenshin" for best and "pokemon" for worst.

                                          Hey! I have an idea! We should form our own Anime group on FFR and call it the "Hardcore Anime Otaku Club." We could make siggies for all the members like the Whoopass and Sex Club did earlier. This way, we could avoid the whole," ZOMg I've seen more Anime then you LOLOol." However.....

                                          To get in the club, you have to have certain "experience" with anime and manga to risk "mainstream" contamination. So Yay or Nay?

                                          Oh, FLCL is a cleverly intelligent anime, wrapped in an insane package of randomness. There is nothing sheerly stupid about FLCL.
