Official Anime of FFR Discussion

Um, the FLCL and Cowboy Bebop manga are horrendous compared to their anime counterparts (and I don't even like the Cowboy Bebop anime much).

A better manga list:

1) Pita Ten
2) Alien Nine
3) Sgt. Frog
4) Ranma 1/2
5) Mahoromatic
6) Fruits Basket

Of course, this does leave off a bunch of good series that I just don't have any interest in

This whole thread is in disarray -.-

Official anime is now limited to votes only for Excel Saga and Mai-HiME. After a few more people see Mai-HiME up to where it is now, we'll make a poll and see where it gets us.

Official anime movie is kinda under wraps as it is now, but the likely candidates are End of Evangelion and Interstella 5555.

Official manga is now under discussion.

Feel free to add an anime you think is a likely choice to beat out those other two animes considering they have many votes on them already. The goal of your anime selection is to sway the vote and if it cannot compete (or I deem it total crap not even worthy of being here (IE Inuyasha)) it will be ignored.

Does nobody like Bleach? I'm not a huge anime freakazoid, but out of those 6 mangas I'd vote Ranma 1/2. I read some of the first volume at the bookstore, looks pretty good.

Bleach isn't good enough to be our official anime.

Aside from the fact that half of FFR considers Bleach and Naruto to be the next DBZ and thus does not watch it.

A similar theory goes for Samurai Champloo which only a few forum members here love (Me).

5)Kingdom Hearts: The Manga

Of course, this just my opinion, but have you seen the KH manga? That thing kicks serious ass. Love Hina is a classic manga all on its own anyways

Aye, dont double post.

All the of the anime's you listed are considered Mainstream (though not bad). Here at FFR we'd like to keep our underground/street credit by electing an Anime that no one has heard about, or is so "extreme" that the mainstream media would reject it like a transplated liver.

i posted some earlier,and they were considered TOO unknown(though I think its because some of the anime was older), I think a happy medium is being sought.
