I told Moogy where to get Interstella 5555 a while back. Not sure if he finally managed to finish that. I know he wanted to see it though.

It was indeed a great movie. Maybe it could be the official anime MOVIE of FFR if nothing better comes forward.

I'm thinking with a few more votes from choice members, Excel Saga could take this.

Excel Saga is just the funniest thing out there and can not be excluded. Also another one would have to be Puni Puni Poemi if that is how you spell it. Its the same people who made Excel Saga

Who cares about what rating it is? It's not like anyone at this site would care.

Anyway, judging from the 18 episodes that have been subbed so far, Mai-HiME is quite possibly the greatest anime that I have ever seen. And I have heard that it only gets better from here.

As for other suggestions that have been mentioned:

Excel Saga - Bleh. I found maybe one in four episodes funny.

FLCL - This was greatness back when I first saw it, but that was three years ago. It's time to move on to something different.

Elfen Lied - An incredible show to watch, but that is mostly because of the excellent build up of tension it has. Once you know what is going to happen, the show loses it's suspense factor, and a good deal of enjoyment.

Yeah, but the problem is that we need a majority vote. The majority of the people on this site haven't seen Mai-HiME, sadly (WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU).

Vash - Puni Puni is just a little bit too into the TV-MA range to be considered our anime. Sorry.

Right now it's like 5 or so votes for Excel Saga and 2 or so votes for Mai-HiME.

And for the movie, even though we haven't really put any word on it, there's 2 or so votes for Interstella 5555.

Boobs and sex? Hey if I want TV-MA, I won't look at a anime. I'll jut go to Waldenbooks and get me Negima or Chobits. Lots more boobs and sex in a book than on the show.

And about Mai-HiME. Isn't that the show with the girl who loves to eat alot of food and the main character goes to this school or something? I've heard about it, but I've never had the chance to see it. If someone could slip me a couple of episodes, I might change my mind...... 8)
