as for LOdoss War , Ive only sen a fraction of, it they showed some on sci fi channel a few years ago.Its a pretty prolific saga.As for Vampyre Hunter D,again--compaed to today's standards,it is a little dated looking.but its one of the classics,ask your friend that. Also,did I mention Fist of the North Star?--gory as hell, but a must see for anime fans,ask your friend about that one too.

Ok, I've heard of BG Crisis, but I heard that sucked for the most part as well. The others are just obscure.

I mean, I could come up and tell you that I think "Japan Air Self Defence Force Tactical Training Squadron 801 T.T.S. Airbats (OAV)" is the best thing ever made. You can't prove if I've seen it or not.

I did request that people use things that others have seen. Nothing totally obscure, please. That's why I made my list of semi-mainstream-but-not-so-much-that-every-noob-loved-it anime.

I know, thats why I said some of the ones I had in the previous posts. I just forgot that alot of the people on here are alot younger than I am and havent heard of these.(like Lodoss war and Iria) they are pretty much staple anime for alot of the people I know.I figured that they were in the not too mainsteam, but not too oscure area. I already said that out of your frontrunners, I would go with Evangelion.When are you going to post an "official" ballot thread ?Waiting for more submissions?

Pita Ten's artist or director doesn't have the the same name of Shinchi(sp?) Watanabe, the director of Cowboy Bebop. Excel Saga does.

Okay not to sound like a jackass, but even though Kefit is a respected Forum member, he doesn't have the right to decide what is the official manga. There are a hell of a lot better manga out there than Pita Ten trust me. If Kefit wants to put it up for discussion then we can talk about other entries and such. For now, Pita Ten is the first submittal for Official FFR Manga. Not the official manga.

out of those?I'd go for Cowboy Be-bop.Just cause I've seen just about all of it,and it holds its own as a series.I cant comment on Ranma 1/2 b/c I simply havent seen but snippets of it.The only thing is the "mainstream" stigma that some were worried about.Im cool with it, a few years ago, how many knew what Cowboy Be-bop was anyway?A fraction of those that know now.I mean, just cause its well known now, doesnt mean it all of a sudden sucks.
