tldr; I've actually really only started to play VSGR's about 3-4 months ago. With this being said, all of my time has gone in to them, because they are extremely enjoyable! Thanks to Plant and a select few others, I'm trying to get on their level. Let's see how I've done so far!

Round One - Pink Cloud (feat. Max Collins) - [0-0-0-0]
So this file wasn't really all that challenging, but it was quite a nice opener for the tournament! Some of the hands were a little tricky, but overall, the AAA wasn't that hard to come by. I was maybe 10-15 plays deep before i finally nailed it.

Round Two - Boooring! - [6-0-0-2]
Quite a fun file honestly, kudos to Halogen for making such a fun file! I think this was a great move, considering this file was, and will probably be the longest in the tournament for D1. This definitely weeded a few people out, and set the standard for the rise in difficulty over rounds.

Round Three - Dating Start! - [21-1-1-6]
This was a VERY weird and uncomfortable file for me to play through. I must have had 30+ plays on the file before I got something I wanted to sit on. Honestly, I wasn't looking to improve much on this score because I felt I could sit it until the round ended. I really didn't care for Dating Start that much, but beggars can't be choosers!

Round Four - A Happy Day in Funtown - [48-6-2-9]
I mean... I'm not really sure why this made it in the tournament. Overall a very tricky file, that really didn't feel like it had any consistency to it. I'll probably go for an AAA on this at some point and hope to god I never have to play it again.

Round Five - Fall Memories - [95-6-17-40]
Again, I didn't really care for this file all that much. This seemed like your average "AAA bait", and I honestly just played it until I found a comfortable spot on the cutoff. I probably won't play this again, I really did not like it at all.

Round Six - All is Fair in RAGE - [50-2-3-10]
Honestly, this was very challenging, and I have a TON of plays on this file. I think this set the tempo for what direction this tournament is moving in, and I expected the next round to be so much harder, and it is. The music was great, and I didn't mind playing it over and over again, very fun!

Round Seven - Azure Emotion - [144-1-1-5]
I'm lucky, whether it was a skillboost, or I was just on my A-game for the play. This file is HARD! This file is going to weed people out, and I'm not sure I'll do better on this. This was a very lucky play, and I'm honestly not going to try it again until we are in round 8. I only had 10-20 plays on this file, but I have been practicing alot, and stepmania has really helped. To each their own, I will see you guys (I'm guessing Nighdragon & Charmoeleon) in round 8!

Round Eight - ??? - [?-?-?-?]

I'm still so frustrated that I can't figure out whether I play better on downscroll or upscroll. For denser maps, upscroll has been FANTASTIC, but for stream maps, I love downscroll... meh...
