That isn't simple. Nor is it a solution.

It should be simple. It's not our fault if vbulletin has a weakness in the area of programmable mods which would be useful and should be easily accessible.

But it is definitely possible to put in limitations like that. Hard perhaps, but possible. And since captchas were failing to keep them back, it isn't so absurd of us to press this point until the problem is resolved.

But these forum upgrades. Did they resolve whatever problems were occurring that were allowing the bots to break the captchas/email verification?

Bumping this because bots have surfaced in lit again and people seem to think it's a good idea to post in their threads. If you see any bot-threads, just report them by clicking the little red-outlined triangle icon under the poster name.
