Re: TWG XLVI: For the King!
for public knowledge, the person who I have been intricately 'working with', referred to as my partner by tali and I've even said it, was not made privy to the thieves who contacted me. I've only told tali part of that information.

Re: TWG XLVI: For the King!
It does.
I passed it to thunder.
Flaw knew I had it and I hadn't had the chance to talk to talisman until..well, like 20 minutes ago or something?Leave a comment:

Re: TWG XLVI: For the King!
I sent my shield to stoic, and thunder claims to have one now.
If he isn't lying, that means two shields.Leave a comment:

Re: TWG XLVI: For the King!
ok the items as I currently know them. still haven't talked to everyone but whatever.
revolver: at least one, possibly three, likely two. stoic has/d one, observer might have had one.
diamond ring: one, but two could exist if this functions as a lovers item.
explosives: one set, presumably gone.
golden dagger: 90% sure there are 2, but possibly only one.
lucky charm: three known.
scrying stone: two known.
cursed shield: I only know of one, but flaw apparently knew of another.
bag of gold: one.
vial of poison: one.
people who claimed to start the game with nothing: four. Note: observer was one of these four, but may have been lying.
Now about some random **** that's been going on. The vial of poison as pnt has told you started out in the hands of thunder. It apparently forces you to kill someone from whoever voted to lynch you if you are lynched, according to thunder, who says that this was in the item description (apparently this item has a description). thunder went to pnt with this, presumably when pnt was doing his little fake spiel about knowing people's items, and pnt decided that this item should be removed from the game, so he started trying to find a thief to steal it for him and then flee town with it. You can see the results of this grand scheme in his earlier post.
Now, thunder was telling me that as long as he wasn't wolfed, everything would be fine because this item then wouldn't fall into the hands of the wolves, presumably. Although I don't think that's how it even works... only if you're being passed an item do the wolves get it if they decided to wolf you. So I don't really see why all this was necessary. It also has not escaped my mind that the item might be BS in the first place, especially since it seems very few of the items start with instructions on their use. Not to mention that it's essentially a carbon copy of the brutal wolf power.
Meanwhile, xero and some unnamed accomplice were cooking up their own little scheme. xero had a cursed shield. the accomplice had an unspecified item. the accomplice suggested giving the shield to pntballa, in the hopes that the wolves would wolf pntballa (you'll remember that xero made a post during night one in which he copypasted a convo between himself and pntballa in which he states he's going to be giving him an item) and thus end up with the shield. This would somehow be beneficial since the wolves would then be forced to interact with people to pass the shield along, or something like that (which doesn't make sense because passing can be anonymous). In return for passing the shield to pnt, the accomplice would give xero an item. Why this trade was necessary and what both parties sought to gain I have no idea. If you know anything about this, please fill me in.
Some other odds and ends.
I have no clue how this revolver thing works. I don't know how I was shot. I don't really even know how I was saved. I presume it was just the guardian, but who knows. I did not have a lucky charm. I do not know who shot stoic. I do know that a revolver changed hands last night, as someone has reported receiving one. I don't know why stoic would pass a revolver, but it could have been him I suppose.
stella was stolen from night one. That certainly points to stoic, but possibly not.
oh, and stoic was seered green by flaw, so he's not a wolf unless he had an item that affected his seering results.Leave a comment:

Re: TWG XLVI: For the King!
for the record, I already chewed out pntballa on how stupid it was to offer stoic the golden dagger as well as the shield.
also, this whole scheme is pretty unnecessary too, based on what the poison vial does.
I'm planning on maybe making a largeish information revealing post later. we'll see. the above topic will be covered.Leave a comment:

merlonifan28: wolves get items from the person they kill
merlonifan28: so essentially, yes
thunderstrike687: as long as im not wolved, were fine.
later...
merlonifan28: if we do find a theif, dont pass it to him/her
merlonifan28: let them steal it
merlonifan28: that way we know he/she is a theif

merlonifan28: yeah
StoicRoivaS: i sent the PM to dbp a while ago, so hopefully you've done the same
Originally posted by StoicRoivaSFair enough. I'll steal from thunder tonight and you pass me both items and we'll call it a deal. I'd prefer not to say how I plan to keep my items safe, but suffice it to say I used DBP's written game description as well as questioning him over a certain aspect of the thief role. Using his description as well as his answer to the question, I have created a make-shift way of keeping them safe, that DBP himself ok'ed. Do you need me to do anything specific with the item, or just hang on to it until I flee town? Obviously I'd prefer to keep it until I leave.Originally posted by pntballa18I would rather not tell you what it does. I just want to tell you, it will not hurt you. I need you to steal it because we need it out of the game. Also, before I send you this, I would like to ask how you are keeping your items from the other thiefOriginally posted by StoicRoivaSWhat exactly does thunder have and why do you need me to steal it/what do you want with it/etc?Originally posted by pntballa18i'm a human. I need you to do something for me. I need you to steal from him. You said that the items are safe with you, so I'm trusting you. In return, I will give you a golden dagger, and a shield.stoic for not coming through with his end of the bargain. The only reason I can think of is him not being a thief. The only person who would fake a thief, to me, is a wolf.Originally posted by me and thunder againmerlonifan28: did stoic steal your item?
thunderstrike687: no he didnt steal itLeave a comment:
