I'm filing for item on this one. Either that or the guard didn't choose to protect flaw.

As the guards began to wake up, the situation at hand slowly crept back into their minds. What to do? Where to begin? None of them were together at the time, so it's impossible to use simple deduction to find out who it was.

Slowly, the guards emptied from their respective rooms into the hall that connected them, meeting where the hall forked in the middle. Everyone was accounted for, except for one person. talisman was nowhere to be found.

Upon arrival at his room, his door was found ripped apart, with wood fragments littering his chamber.

"I... I was sleeping. The next thing I know, there's a dark figure in my room, and I can't make out who it is. He... He hold a knife to my chest, and tells me that the one that sent him must be made proud, but at the last second he was shoved out of the way by another," explained talisman.

"wtf are you smoking lolz," chimed jwcgator.

"I was saved, you blubbering idiot. I don't know who did it, but at least I know there's still a bit of good left out there." he concluded.

"We need to get to work. If anyone has any information on who was where at the time of the incident, it's very important that you bring it to me," stated flawofhumanity.

At this, the guards retreated to the table just inside of the locked door, where they would discuss the situation at hand.

TALISMAN WAS ATTACKED LAST NIGHT, AND THE ATTACK FAILED:
While the story goes to say that the guardian saved him, the story does not mean jack. Talisman may have been saved by an item, or may have been saved by the guardian.

It is now day one. day will end at 11:59PM(midnight EST) on Saturday.

At 11:50 I am going to begin compiling the daybreak story, and sending PMs to people who require them. If someone feels the urge to change their target, or use an item, or pass an item, or use a night action they forgot to use, or whatever. You are going to have to AIM me. I love my grammar, back off.

"Well you see that wouldn't make any sense in a game with 20 people and 4 wolves."

"How do you know there are four wolves?"

"Kilga said, in the sign up thread, go look for yourself..."

"I'm looking right now, it says the number and type of wolves in this game will not be publically revealed at any point in the game."

    "...Well, I'm a wolf. =("

And that's how I got lynched last game.

    PS thread stickied.

    Yeah this thread is comical
By the way, I think someone stated thieves are 1/8 chance. It's 1/9. 18 players, etc.

Oh. I was still looking at the info in the sign up thread. >_<

I guess since the seer checks for alignment instead of green/red/blue it wouldn't matter much anyway. Meh, Moot point now.

Another occured thought after talking to people and thinking, I could see items for confusing the seering (making you appear the opposite color). So I'd think it would be best to reinforce everyone to tell flaw what their item is tommorow when he's confirmed, Or now if you trust him enough.

pntballa, screenshots of convos are illegal.

also, I'm thinking that this midgame event that dbp referenced is going to be some kind of wolf-marking or something.

    Game setup is as follows:
    2 Wolves
    1 Brutal Wolf

    2 Thieves

    1 Seer
    1 Guardian
    2 Hunters
    9 Humans

    p.s

    2 + 1 = 3

    2 = 2

    1 + 1 + 2 + 9 = 13

    13 + 2 + 3 = 18

    blow me manticore.

What seems to make a lot of sense would be an item that would either switch a wolf and a human role, or be something that would convert a non wolf role into a wolf.

I would say ressurection, but that'd be dumb and just lead to another lynching the following day, so at this point, these two options seem most beneficial.
