I don't recall getting fed up with jwc's play last game. In fact, he came in very handy, because (as nija pointed out to me) he does whatever he's told to do, so I told him to vote for DBP and Stoic right before I died and he did. No complaints about that here. 8)

Look, we can banter all we want. What we need are replacements for TWC so that some decisions can be made.

The rule was fine as it was (win two jtwg to be allowed into twg), and that applies to everyone. I'd have to go back and win one more, some of you that have been in twg since after jtwg was abolished would need to go back, etc.

The issue is, if this is reinstated, then active recruiting needs to take place again to fill in the spaces (as nforcer said). Rather than all talk about "omg yur so dum no u r fagface", we should be saying "hmm... 'so and so' might not be the best twg player, but they've been around a while and have an open mind about new players, but not so much that they're a push over. They should get on twc and help clear up the mild mess that's appeared."

jtwg can be brought back if there's demand (aka enough players) for it. otherwise the new kids get to play in twg if they can get in. I'm fine with hosts excluding people based on prior inactivity, but not on the basis of perceived intellect.

Lol, I don't want to come off as a drone, but yeah that's kinda what I did. Plus it made sense when FFR reported you as human. Once FFR died I was 100% sure.

I'll go ahead and nominate Talisman and Shash for TWC if everyone feels the need that it be filled. I don't personally see the need for it, but in the event that something does come up, it's better that it already be in place. Counting kilga that leaves 2 spots to be filled. Anyone else come to mind? I'd gladly help as much as possible for the affairs of TWG, as I've tried to since the moment DBP introduced me to the idea. Shash mainly because he's a proficient player as well as mildly dedicated (from my own personal perception of him of course), and Talisman for similarly obvious reasons. No one else particularly comes to mind concerning dedication to improving FFR's TWG experience though I'm sure we can come up with a sufficient group of people for now.

Just kidding. But I like the idea of having to win 2 jTWG's before you can be eligible to enter a regular TWG(and to win you must have not been lynched, but you can be wolfed).

I don't see the need right now to remake or refill slots in twc... we're doing ok with the consensus method as it is.

I say whoever has a hosting idea go ahead and make a host-voting thread (I think nija had some ideas).

If people sign up for the game that the host feels will not be active, the host can choose not to let them in.

If we start getting hosts being dicks and excluding people for questionable reasons, then we can bring back twc. But until then there isn't a great need. (and hosts.... don't be dicks).

I know I'm not an awesome player, but I do recall a couple games back where you told me you were the guard and I was a wolf.

Also, about TWC, I think talisman is extremely correct. Basically, if a host doesn't want to include someone, great, don't, but if you're being unfair the other players will most likely say something about it, and you can't exactly host if people won't play for you because you're being ridiculous. (long sentence)

About jwc, he's doing a lot better. If you're too full of yourself to realize, shut up.

I think people should be disallowed to join if they are going to be inactive. Alternatively they can join after the slots cannot be filled with active people. I however don't think that people should be disallowed to join because of their intellect.

That way, people who aren't very good can follow the game a bit more from the outside, and hopefully learn that way.

This is really just a nice way of saying 'I don't want stupid people in the game;' if you want to 'learn from the outside,' you could just read past TWGs like most people do. Instead of getting to play your first game, you could just... watch one! (Or go read an old one)

I think that not allowing people to join because of their intellect is like making fun of someone for a disability they were born with; it's simply not your fault if you're not as gifted as some of the gods that reside on these boards. (see jurs)

Maybe we need another "break" to just chill out and come back to regain focus? It worked last time we tried it. How about we just leave TWG alone for two weeks and come back to it with fresh minds? Anybody think that's a good idea?

Don't see a need for a break either... earlier breaks and proposed breaks were in response to extreme inactivity and the need to reinvigorate interest in the game. We just had one of the most active twgs in the past 10 or 15, and that was in spite of the fact that some players hardly contributed at all.

Uh, maybe because there were not many players left, the one guy who was in my alliance from the start told me he was pretty clear with him being a human, and I had no one else to trust? Plus, I didn't really tell DBP much until the very end.

See these were my thoughts exactly the first 15 fucking times blues went to Tass before Day 1 started.

Why couldn't he have ever been a wolf for ANY of those instances to teach people a lesson about being idiots? Argh.
