Alright I'm new to TWG, but isn't it possible with the type of game nija was trying to play, he screwed up thinking Kilga was green because Kilga played it so well?

His only chance was to kill a green the night he went for you. Because you sold yourself as a green to nija so well he went to SK you so he could (possibly) come out the winner.

Nija pegged Kilga as a wolf a day or so before the final one.

It is a sport. There's clear, definable goals and objectives to be reached that make there be winners and losers (ie figure skating isn't since it's based on subjective judging).

In retrospect, killing Stoic was dumb because FFR actually did have a phantom from Day 1 that no one noticed because Observer didn't point it out. If I had been thinking I would've gone to nija and told him to kill you where I would've killed Afro, at which point we vote Stoic off and then I commit harakiri for him while Z3ratul looks on helplessly.

If it came down to a 2h 1w 1sk situation that I was in, I would've voted myself. A) It would prove my humanity by simple logic so I could be trusted, B) if a human got lynched wolf's only choice would be to night kill SK to win, and SK wouldn't win regardless of who he night killed.

@Kilga- I couldn't have called you if I tried. Again, the only reason I can see you getting lynched is hardly because you got pegged (though nija did a good job), but rather just by deduction. You played a good game and I assure you everybody here knows that.

@nforcer- My bad for starting what got you lynched, I genuinely thought you looked wolf at the time; though, as the day later progressed you started to look human, and I almost wished I had casted my vote to rioting but the train on you started. DBP later let me know you looked MW to him so at that point I was glad I wasn't the only one with a notion against you, but then you flipped green =/

As far as all this TWG / jTWG 'omg twg sux nao' stuff, if there was still a jTWG in place I would've joined it. I messaged Observer asking him if I could hop in the game as a replacement, and he gave me a shot. Thanks.

Okay, let's assume you vote for yourself. nija and I both jump on you, you get voted off, leaving three people, where we would vote again as per Observer's instructions. Then I vote for myself, nija votes for me and he wins. >_>

Perhaps a new panel of TWC members should be elected, as only two of them (Kilga and Guido) are active anymore, and even Guido hasn't been involved a lot recently.

Thoughts?

Coincidentally, I've been thinking something similar, yet didn't want to propose it for fear of a "u just said that becuz u want in it for POWERS" sort of stigma.

Yeah, um, I don't know if Kilga or Guido would care, but I'd like to host a game where I'd actually be able to NOT ALLOW people to play. It's kind of obvious who I'm talking about.

Okay, so this game was full of colossal **** ups.

For starters, I **** the bed all over the place. I can try to make all kinds of excuses, but that's just stupid. It was my first time hosting and it was a slightly different game than others, however, I still let in people who knew what was going on, slipped up and let Eva see half the player's roles before the game even started, Wilkin either WAS figured out or was very high on the wolves' suspicions before the game even started and I was doing more post editing than everyone else combined does in a week. So yeah, bad hosting experience for sure.

Now, on to the game itself.

This game, IMO was pretty balanced if played right. The unfortunate killing of Wilkin and Talis in the first two days was rather ****ty, but I was asking myself what the **** was going on with the math ****. It's a game, not a math competition. All the statistics in the world aren't going to keep you alive; playing the game the normal way, with suspicions, gut feelings, lots of convo and voting patterns will...hopefully.

If the humans would've cut the math ****, stopped arguing every second minute and just played like they would in any normal game, I think they would've worked together much better and people would've gotten lynched much faster.

Also, why didn't the humans just lynch Nija when he came out? Really. It would've been three wolves vs. a bunch of humans... sound familiar? At that point, some normal play could've resumed and it would've been a much tighter game. I dunno, I wasn't IN the game, so I can't say how I would've reacted, but that just seemed dumb as hell to me.

So yeah, after all the talk at the start of the game about how ****ed the humans were, they won. With all the arguing, stupid statistics and teaming with the SK, they won. So much for statistics, balance and whatever.

I don't wanna host again for a long time. And if we're getting jTWG back, is there even enough new players to get games going? I think we REALLY need some new blood in this game. A lot of the older players are starting to either really know how each other play as each role, or hate each other, or both. Either that, or be inactive. So yeah, get some fresh meat in here, and maybe some new council members (Although I fail to see what they do...:/) and hopefully we'll get the excitement of those older games back.

Observer, I'm sure you noticed; I was pushing for killing the SK for a while. I really hated the idea of two kills per day, even if we had control over them. I like my games to last as long as possible, even if they MIGHT be won earlier (which happened in this instance, even though contrary to what kilga seems to think, I feel the SK didn't make or break our win specifically). I think everyone else's mentality was "**** making the game last longer so we can get more info and understand more... let's KILL PEOPLE FASTER. Obviously, if we kill more players per day, we kill more wolves per day." Anyway, eventually I just gave up on it. Better to actually make use of my lynch vote than to be the only person voting to kill the SK.

This is the single best idea you've ever had. I'm proud of you. I was highly considering trying to host the next game with the same idea. It's overly apparent who the people who actually play TWG are, and more painfully so, the ones that simply have the adalterated fixation/fetish/mental complex for signing up for the game as quickly as possible to waste the slots for the people who'd actually play. I'm all for reckless banings and screened signups. If everyone else (read: EVERYONE WHO PLAYS) agrees, I'd suggest a blacklist of names that are only allowed to signup 24 hours after the second signup period has ended. If the disgraceful players wouldn't have fruitlessly signed up in the first place, I would have gotten a spot originally and this wouldn't be nearly as big a mess as it was.

PS: before anyone feels like vindictively throwing blame on me, know this: I told oberserver exactly what I knew and by who. I made no forced entry into this game and had no intent on bending/breaking any rules. The game needed replacements and I offered. Maybe in hindsight it was a poor move on his part, but the wolves didn't help their case by leaving kagome alive to fully narrow down the suspects to nearly no unknowns.

If there was a screened game I would never be let in because as soon as I applied whoever was running (ESPECIALLY IF IT WERE JURS) would be like "lol no ur jwc ur stupidz" as soon as I even mentioned the slightest interest in joining. I can't get any better if I don't play more.

We can run a new campaign for jTWG players in the main forums again. We're still a small, close, secluded group in here as it is. We'd need fresh blood for jTWG. And, honestly, I think we need jTWG back, or some other kind of changes, before another TWG starts.

I was actually playing with the idea of restructuring TWC, because blah is gone, I haven't Chardish in a while, and besides Guido and Kilga, I don't know who the last one is. We need to fix that up first so that if we do decide to patch up our exposed shortcomings and revive jTWG, there's some order in it.
