Kilga you played well until the endgame when really it seemed like you just got process of eliminationed. I especially like how you were early and often against hans/mead.

That was the problem. I didn't see any reason why I was one of the people getting flattened by the steamroller instead of one of the people riding in it. It's not like there was a buildup of seered people - nija was the only untouchable target.

I think sertman completely missed the point. Nija did what he did because the blues that we got to balance the SK and extra wolf were killed remarkably quickly. Had he not helped us directly the entire time it would have been an easy wolf win. It was already almost a wolf win with an extra "lynch" each day. It would have been a lot better of course had the blues lived a bit longer but this didn't happen and thus the honorable SK decided to help the humans.

I find it a bit funny that the wolves are mainly the ones complaining. It's a game guys. You don't need to win every time to have fun. Fairness is fun, not domination. Here's an idea for a game, 15 wolves, 1 human. That way 15/16 people get to win!!!!!!!! Or better yet, 16 wolves and 1 human. That's over a 5% increase in the number of players having fun. I think I'm on to something here... Grow up.

Yes nija did not play his role the way it was intended. Yes it helped the humans. No the humans did not stand a chance (in this particular game) without his help. And finally, no, you're not cooler if you win more TWGs than other people. GG

Also, in agreement with sertman, I'd like to see a game where the SK actually operates as an independent team and not an affiliate of the humans, like Iggy also was in XXXI.

Course I was forced to show myself in order to survive because you jerks revealed yourselves.

Besides, the SK role I played was human first SK later and I played it that way.

I thought this game was interesting. The fact that everyone thought the humans had no chance was pretty much mute when the sk came out. Even then, however, many people were not so optimistic about the situation.

If you're not playing to win, why are you playing?

Of course we're going to complain. We got royally dicked by the independent third party fully extending his services to our enemy with complete disregard to his own well-being. How are we supposed to compete with that?

As well as a wolf nabbed on Day 1 by sheer dumb luck. And let's not forget (since you guys conveniently keep forgetting) that everyone in this game was a psychic.

Guard and bane weren't necessary anyway because you still had an untouchable figurehead in the serial killer.

I'm playing to have fun. If you're only interested in "winning" at things, there are far more simple vocations you can lose yourself in. There's this really fun game called Put the Urine in the Toilet, I win nearly daily. Nija did what he thought was best to make the game fair. If the blues hadn't been hit so early maybe it would have been slightly more fair, although still biased. The game was still moderately close even with Nija's help. We were questioning afro for quite a while and it was a few extremely minor points that kept Nija, DBP, and I trustworthy of each other the whole time. If you were a human you wouldn't be complaining at all. It's a game; a forum game.

Actually let's go through this post point by point.

No it wasn't. We were screwed before Day 3 ended and it was all I could do to bite my tongue over it.

So, if the game were remade with the SK as is, only working for the humans, and no guard and no bane you'd call it fair? Maybe I'm not a TWG God yet but if you have some method for being able to lynch a wolf every time, thusly taking full benefit of the SK's power, I suggest you let us know. Having 2 lynchs per day is not all it's cracked up to be. We got lucky on sert. We let up on afro because of his extreme defense and we tighten down on you because of your blatant "why am I a wolf". We left zer because of his thought-he-was-dead post right before we all switched off of him(to nforcer?). After that it was basically process of elimination. We knew we had to trust each other fully if we were going to win so we crossed each other off the list of suspects and went from there. With Nija's 100% help this game was very much still win-able by the wolves.

I'm merely trying to point out that it shouldn't matter which of us won. We should both be fighting for the fairness and fun of the game. Maybe you would have had more fun if nija worked as he should have with the humans having 0% chance the whole time, but I'd prefer everyone have fun, not just the 4 people winning.

If we also took out the fourth wolf, yes. SK comes out Day 1 and becomes the voice of the seer. Two direct blue roles plus everyone being a pseudo-blue against 3 wolves leans towards the humans if anything.

It's simple mathematics. Given the SK is never going to die, if the wolf population is reduced to 1 it's impossible for them to win because of EoG priority. If you guys are sufficiently stupid that you can't figure out two wolves AND you can't hit them by dumb luck either when you have twice the kills they do you very much deserve to lose.

We got lucky on Wilkin and talisman. The first two days of this game were a definite statistical anomaly and shouldn't at all be used to guage the normal flow of this design.

What am I supposed to do? Defend before attacked and get called on being overdefensive? Sit there and let people attack me and vote for me with no defense at all? No matter what someone does to defend or not defend themselves it can be twisted into a wolfish action and you know it.

Herman Edwards has a much better response to this than anything I could produce. And before someone harps on TWG not being a "sport", it's close enough.

We should both be fighting for the fairness and fun of the game.

Is that not what I'm doing? nija doing what he did completely ruined the fairness of the game. Should I only be fighting for human fairness?
