Projecting town is a skill you need if you want to be good at TWG. I think you are conflating the word "projection" with "faking". Projecting town is convincing others you are town by your actions.

Hateandhatred has been historically terrible at projecting town and yesterday was just the latest case in point. The reality that he is town was irrelevant at the last eod. What matters is what everyone else thought. Because he couldn't project that he was town, he ended up catching aggro from me and in turn dying because a wagon formed on him

genuinely this is a good tactic in champs just to try and keep up with everything if you're on limited time
do like a few isos of important people in the beginning, try to nail a wolf, and you'll truly be fine

sprinkle in some pseudointellectual bullshit if you roll wolf and make it look like you're doing more work and you can literally just even bullshit through a game

Pulling the curtain back on this a bit, none of my posts have had anything but surface level analysis and tone reads and reactions to events in real time. That is to say, there is very little solving there. All my posts have done really is project town due to volume and stream of consciousness. You can go back an iso me you'll probably not find a single post that quotes more than 1 post or any iso's on other players. I'm playing in a way that is pretty selfish. I can check the thread frequently in small doses but I have yet to devote time to analysis.

I'm not saying to discount what I'm saying because those reads I make on other players arnt fabricated or anything, they just arnt grounded in hard evidence. There have been several times where I could've taken my reads to the next level by doing hard detective work and I didn't. That's what I meant by laziness

I'm going to try to correct that before eod

i dont know if i can buy the laziness excuse. i mean despite how busy you have been, you have devoted considerable time to the game. are you saying to discount everything you have done thus far with a label of "laziness"

firstly, I was a dumb stupid idiot and thought we had to stop posting at 10:59
I don't know why I thought this when I didn't the phase before
I'm not sure it is a mistake I've ever made, either

whatever that was I actually don't know if that was his list of conclusions he made about ben's interactions
he didn't have any votes

I was voting DBP to do star a solid (lmao I've smiled a few times thinking about her attempt to thunderdome DBP)

DBP had just left his will, which kind of annoyed me, pissed me off and made me think he was wolfy, because there was just not any way he thought he was dead already, even if he said so

I don't know what star said to me in #1021, I don't know what she meant

but like, at about that time, I was content with people dying in about this order
zenith > sven > DBP >>> someone else

I was overall pretty fine with the development of the 2nd wagon, up until it actually started like.. looking like a clusterfuck

I probably should've discouraged botchi votes more than I did
it fizzled a bit earlier

I should've tried to consolidate votes better, stuff like botchi's vanity vote on shado didn't really accomplish much, and I didn't realize that sven didn't even self pres until we were waiting on the KitB

I don't like... remember my thoughts that well in the moment

other than being freaked the fuck out by what it felt like was sven taunting us with some poem or something, and shado moving between the two wagons, those are like the major things

I recalled a game where I followed a confirmed town (I know star wasn't confirmed but like
shado sure has been playing like she was, and it would've literally blown my mind more than any non-role related reveal ever for star to be a wolf)
anyways

it really reminded me in the moment what it felt like shado was doing

I don't really care about it as much now, he ended back on the right place (in my opinion and my operating worldview rn), but I thought it was ending at 10:59 or whatever

I'd like to hear from him what *he* was thinking, frankly

I don't think it is impossible for him to be wolf even if zenith is town, but I don't really like

I don't really think anything else I say will change your mind because those concerns are legitimate. If anything it actually makes me feel better because I was expecting to get heat for how my eods have been bad. Maybe if this was a VN I'd be losing friendship points with everyone else silently in the background but you are the first to confront me about it

I feel like I'm not really talking to people directly much this game and that's when I feel the best about interactions. Most people arnt awake super late at night like I am. Maybe there's something I can do to fix that

Despite the fact that sunfan sounds like he is suffering and dying irl (get well soon sunfan!) he seems to be the most active in the thread and we've talked a bit already so I want to look somewhere else first.
