Re: FFR Community Pack III (Submissions Open)
I think I came out a little to strong when I used "damn". Its ment in a casual context in my opinion considering I use it in this context a lot. But you can never know how the expressions used online. Sorry about that Moches. Could of at least responded to my PM though. Whatever. 2 copies of SM? wtf? you have SM twice in ur comp? thats probably why then. Its nothing important, just wanted to test something out. That means you are done stepping?
Who_cares is helping me now and hes doing a good job. Because of him, I might actually be able to fix this problem. Thx again man... Ill hit you up on Aim ur time tomolo, or whenever you are online AIM.
Once I fix this, get ready for a small mound of files.Last edited by operationstrawbarry; 05-27-2009, 06:08 AM.Comment

41. Angel Eyes [moches] - 3/5 *rejected*
wow moches you shocked me... rofl this is so much better than v1. i really enjoyed this, and once again, i'd accept it for another easy file-type thing. the pr was great, and the layering and mine usage was awesome. you are getting good moches, keep it up, but i'm gonna keep this on pending because there are
some boring parts. felt too old school to me (8th jumps w/ simple blue notes behind it), and lacks replay value. it was fun the first time though; i'll probably play it again. only rejected for its simplicity and difficulty; you are gettin bettter moches
45. Marque El Dos [moches] - 3/5 *rejected*
well you had a good song choice here, but the way you stepped it was poor
. you could have used jack theory more extensively, and the entire beginning felt dumpy. sorry, but this song can be stepped so much better and you can do a better job
.
also what's jack theoryComment

Re: FFR Community Pack III (Submissions Open)
in very loose terms jack theory is the placement of jacks in such a way that they a) create tension, ie disrupt flow, and b) accentuate parts of the music using that tension. what this does is emphasizes certain musical elements that can't be brought out otherwise; your Marque el Dos is full of cool rhythms but they all get lost since your patterns basically form big jumpstreams--you can't feel the music in them because there are no jacks to create tension on the natural accents.
for pretty straightforward examples of it look through amy's Clocktower Stage or my Loli Fishing or ferrari's Mind Mapping. if you really want to see a master use it though, take a look at kil's Bedtime Story or Final Fantasy Last Battle or Incarnation of Devil o.0squirrel--it's whats for dinner.Comment

I just don't want to have two copies of a game that probably exceeds 10 GB. Out of luck but you can always ask somebody else I guess..
