wow this got some raving attention.

Gonna step up and say it: those of you who don't want this to happen really should justify your reasons rather than hiding.

assuming that most of the hate over it is either people wanting to even out the current votes, people who have had bad previous experiences with getting extremely burned by fission on here, or are just generally acting white-noised as all chit chat threads go.

fission is a plebian with really bad taste in music and chinese restaurants and i feel like that does not reflect the community in a positive light

considering all the votes and attention this topic has gotten so far i would love for Velocity to give his opinion on all this. it seems like a thing that a lot of the users and players of ffr really seem to care about!

I think we're all grown up enough to say it as constructive criticism instead of spiting others over reasons.

Given now that you have something to share and feel like not sharing it piques my curiosity even further. As the situation stands, a lot of people are in favor of giving privileges to Fission to help out with the website, and you're part of the staff for the website. I think it would be good to share information regarding possible colleagues imo. If in the late future you have to end up working with him for an event/something related in that department. We're talking privileges on the same level as global mod/developer/possibly admin if the need arises.
