I'll admit he's extremely blunt at times but his force of understanding & know-how is very prestigious. The only thing I don't know of is his works outside of the internet, because I haven't seen much of it. But given the talks I've had, it feels like he must have already done the hards & lows if he's already went through college/university over programming rather than taking it as a hobby.

I would consider him the Gordon Ramsay of computing in my light. Very blunt, but very knowing.

If he was global mod & admin I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be that hard to include a search function

But I wouldn't want to start adding stuff to Fission's plate without him forming his own opinion first in all this.

Zag mentioned something about possibly needing to re-index the forum because (TGB posts weren't being indexed while TGB was unsearchable??)

Something like that. I'll try to bring it up with him tonight. If it is the indexing issue, Zag mentioned that in order to Index TGB he has to Index the entire forum (Indexing is apparently all or nothing) which would require a ~12 hour forum downtime.
