Also, I see Synthlight is in favor of removing avmisses - Synth, what do you think about the historical significance of avmisses, and how should we deal with them, well, how are you going to deal with it? Are you going to implement the fix now, or wait until 3rd style? I know you talk closely with the subscribers, but we're part of this community too, so I want to know your thoughts about this situation.

Does it have 0-framers, or are you just saying it's inhuman to manage an accelerating trill with 1-framers?

As far as I know, it has 1-framers. There are no 0-framers in that song, and I've actually seen the step breakdown of the trill - there's actually a jump in there.

But to address your question, it's inhuman to manage the accelerating trill coupled with a 1-frame jack because you end up skipping the entire first note's timing window.

EDIT: I imagine with the Beta release there will be a few people able to do it. Even without avmisses, comboing that trill would be impressive.

1 frame = 1/30th of a second. Hitting two keys (the one before the actual 1-frame jack and then the jack itself) in 1/15th of a second is ridiculous.

If Synth is willing to keep bluenote songs, it seems stupid not to be willing to keep avmiss. One is just as much as a bug as the other imo.

stop crying about it being removed. keeping any glitch because you are upset your scores are going to be annihilated is absolutely retarded. this is the reason why i came back to play again. i couldnt play with avmisses because i get a horrid amount on my PC. this is 100% a good thing.

You wouldn't not fix something if it was broken. If your car had a flat tire, you wouldnt leave it flat.

Any arguement against avmisses is for purely selfish reasons. get over yourselves.

But I understand where you're coming from...though it has become a score limiting feature in this game, it is in its true essence, a glitch. I agree it needs to be removed.

But there's still the whole concept of the affect on scores, and no code sifting on Xelius' part will solve what to do with them.

I think the difference between fixing avmisses and "fixing" everything else (like blue noteskins, files out of sync, annoying videos, etc) is that the "everything else" category is full of things that technically function correctly. Sure, they may be cheesy, but they're not malicious to the game's functionality.

The avmiss glitch is. FFR never intended jacks (or even streams and chains, in faster BPMs) to do this. It's a part of the game the doesn't work and wasn't intended to be that way. Offbeat files may be offbeat, but Synth "intended" for them to be that way - that is, when he created them, that's what he could come up with at the time, and they still work correctly. You can still AAA them. You can still play the levels with videos. But not really levels with avmisses =/

What're you talking about? This has nothing to do with scores. Avmisses have become a part of FFR. It's what makes this unique from SM. Sadly, it also stops FFR from doing a lot of other things. In the end it's obviously better to see it go, but it's a huge goodbye to have. Had you taken the time to learn avmisses and get through them, you might feel the same way. Instead of crying about how many you get.

There are quite a few good players in the poll that have voted they like the idea of avmisses being removed. You're not exactly making a point there.

It's not about my scores, as I would be happy to replay any song to take advantage of an easier scoring system. It's because the history of 2nd Style is going to be preserved when 3rd Style is released, so why demolish the history of 2nd Style by making it incredibly easy to obtain previously unattainable score, when the problem is going to be fixed eventually anyways, and the history is going to be separately preserved?
