Well with avmisses gone, I won't be getting scores like 5-2-2-2 on JRB. I could easily SDG it or even possibly AAA it now.
But I think ccoping with avmisses made FFR actually FFR, not just an online SM.

So I don't really have an opinion when it comes to this.

Guys, this isnt the door opening for retarded stepfiles. This is just allowing us to implement more challenging stepfiles and not have to whore songs like JRB for hours to AAA. This SHOULD NOT in any case mean that stepfile artists should take this as "LOL LETZ MAIK A ZONG WIT ALL JAX LMAO!"

getting it or not, i will kinda miss ave-misses. i'm with tera 100%. i don't have as many as good scores, but rank like 50 on revo, and 680 combo on runny, all going to be smashed. D:

This reminds me of when they introduced double exp cards in Maplestory Global. All the hardcore grinders were pissed because they spent hundreds of wasted hours training, and now people could get to their level in half the time. Watching new people go through the same thing that they did is what makes the game.

I have no opinion on the subject, but it's something you see in almost every gaming community at some point.

Anyway, I'm very happy with the fix, maybe because I didn't spend so much time whoring songs, and it was more of an annoyance than a challenge. I'm sorry for guys like [TeRa], but he said himself that he'll get over it. By this time next year, I'm sure there'll be other accomplishments to be proud of, and AV-misses will remain a legend, a myth.

avmisses gone upsets me. Now any score that was hard work to get before is meaningless.

Like TeRa, I'm kind of upset that scores I whored to do really well at will be dominated, but on the flipside, I'm really happy. I'll finally be able to do stuff like FN, OMW and Rev without the worry of avmisses.

I'll get over the score loss with time though, so I'm all for this.

Cmon guys.. they'll be smart about this. There will probably be some sort of high scores list saved (or still enabled) for people who played the song WITH the jack-syndrome. This just opens up FFR to more interesting files, and more difficult files (which I know we all love.)

I simply cannot wait.

This is kind of a good news/bad news thing for me. While I think it will be an epic leap in skill jumps for a lot of people and really make the game a lot less frustrating, it will also mean the addition of songs that are full of WTFJACKLOLZ just because now we can. Jacks are never fun and rarely belong in a song that's filled with them....And now that avemisses are gone, jacks are just going to be abused right to hell in some upcoming files.

As for people complaining about "But what about all the people that got good scores before the fix."....IMHO, that's too damn bad. Welcome to the world of updates and bug fixes. While yes, they should get some bragging rights in the future ("Pfft, I did that song back when it was actually hard!") it doesn't warrant any kind of special treatment concerning the listing of high scores.
