Heavenly Spores seems a little far up the list in Arcade. It's a lot of streaming, but that's really about it. I think it belongs before Night and Day.
ABCDeath is a pretty easy 10, but I don't think it should be changed to a 9 at any point.
Yeah... it's relatively easy to combo or hit, about as much as low 10s or high 9s, but when it comes to PAing, that chart is just brutal. It shouldn't be moved down.
Best AAA: Policy In The Sky [Oni] (81)
Best SDG: PANTS (86)
Best FC: Future Invasion (93)
Honestly Night and Day needs to move the hell up, we've said this many times, it should be right behind Mario Minor or Starwolf IMO. It's really freaking tricky.
It's getting better all the time
I used to get mad at my school (No, I can't complain)
The teachers who taught me weren't cool (No, I can't complain)
You're holding me down (Oh Oh)
Turning me round (Oh Oh)
Filling me up with your rules (Oooh)
I'm really annoyed by spending so much time trying to find Heavenly Spores. I've looked in arcade, I looked in the shop. I scrolled through the songs, I typed it in search, I changed engines. Heavenly Spores is not there.
veteran only songs should have the [veterans only] tag until it's released to the public. All you would have to do is change the title in the xml. But I do think it should be in public ranks. Getting an early release is useless if the score doesn't mean anything.
It still means something when it's in the token ranks - you get to play a song other people can't. Having it in the public ranks hurts the avrank of people who don't happen to be veterans, and if you have a regular release of veteran-only songs, those people will always be a little behind on avrank, which is just unfair. Avrank is supposed to be based only on your abilities.
In the old days there were regular subscriber releases (pretty much every song was subbie-only at first) and people were able to have fun and discuss the new charts while still giving everyone else a fair chance.

This is my exact opinion, as I mentioned in the thread in the Veterans forum...
On a serious note, I do agree with MaxGhost/qqwref about the Veteran song issue. The idea of veteran early releases was good, but it's unfair to the public ranks right now.

While we're reworking things, can I propose a category rework for BW.
My ideas:
Rename Dance to Electronic (that's basically what most of it is) and merge them if we can manage at all without the screen being too cluttered.
Take what doesn't fit into it anymore (Tribal Revival, Infinite Blue, etc.) and:
Move all the J-pop and other Eastern sounding stuff into a new category. Something like "Japanese" or "Oriental" or "Asian" [hope I didn't accidentally offend anyone]
Put everything else that doesn't fall into something else in Misc.
Take the dancey stuff out of Misc and:
Put all the pop (Casio Destroy Toy, all the soft rock, etc.) into its own category.
Put the DnB, other Aaron Funk stuff, etc into Electronic.
Not sure about the theoretical nuances of this one, but maybe combine hip-hop and funk into contemporary. Also I'm throwing jazz out there too, even though it's not really contemporary, it has a similar sound.
