Re: Chicago FFR Meet-up
Point of order. To those of you attending that are underage, don't feel that you need to lie to your parents about where you're going or who you're hanging out with. If your parents want to talk to someone in charge, I'd be happy to placate their fears. Please PM me if this is the case and I'll send you my phone number or email, whichever would be appropriate.
Nothing ruins a meet-up more than police officers looking for missing children.Back to "Back to Earth"

Re: Chicago FFR Meet-up
Okay it seems likely that I'll be renting a car in Chicago. Along with me and Hammy, there are two other people staying in our room at our hotel. So a sedan should be fine. If there are other people who are planning on staying at our hotel and need a ride to GameWorks and wherever else we go, say so. That way I can rent a bigger car. Keep in mind that I will be charging a nominal fee for gas.Back to "Back to Earth"

Shame I can't make it.

Re: Chicago FFR Meet-up
I bought my plane tickets today. I'll be arriving at O'Hare at 9:28 AM CST on the Thursday, June 30th. I'm going to stay for one night at the airport in a hotel there. I used miles for tickets and they couldn't get me there on the Friday the 1st. Staying for one night there is worth free tickets. And I think I might go to the Cubs game at Wrigley that day. If anybody is in the area and is free that afternoon, please join me.
EDIT: Oh, and I plan on renting a car in Chicago the next day. If you're depending on me for a ride and I don't know about it yet, you should probably tell me. That way I can get a big FFR party van.Last edited by All_That_Chaz; 04-3-2011, 08:23 PM.Back to "Back to Earth"

Re: Chicago FFR Meet-up
I highly suggest going to the Airport Hilton while you're there. There is a great sports bar in the basement, I've gone there quite a few times and while the price is a little much, as is to be expected from an airport, I really enjoy the place.I bought my plane tickets today. If you do decide to hit up a Cubs game, let me know and I'll try and stop by.Comment
