Since I'm going to be without a car on the 30th, I'll probably just get a room in whatever hotel I find that's connected to O'Hare. I know there's a Marriott there. I don't know if the Hilton is and I don't want to take a shuttle. And basically if my flight isn't delayed too long and I'm awake enough to go, I'm going to the Cubs game. I somehow managed to live in the midwest for six years without going to one. I need to rectify this.

I'm gonna update the first post with Gameworks as being the place where we'll all meet-up at on Friday the 1st. What times would work for everybody? I'm assuming some point in the evening is what we're aiming for.

I looked on the Gameworks site for their hours and I guess the place becomes strictly 21+ after 9PM. (hoo baby!) How long would you think we'd want to hang out there for? Three hours? Four hours? Five hours? Never leave? Raid Synthlight's house?

5PM seems fine to me for the earliest meeting time. Should be plenty of time. We can just say 5PM to 9PM unless anybody has any objections.

It's a good thing I waited for a couple of days. My flights went down 25 dollars, whoooot! I'm arriving in O'Hare July 1st at 9:33AM (cheapest if I came during the morning time). Looks like I got time to kill once getting there.

It's a good thing I waited for a couple of days. My flights went down 25 dollars, whoooot! I'm arriving in O'Hare July 1st at 9:33AM (cheapest if I came during the morning time). Looks like I got time to kill once getting there.

Nice! I bought my bus ticket to Chicago today. I'm all set. 8)

Edit: Oh, and I'll be arriving around 1PM.

Awesome! I'll actually be in town before you so I can get you at the airport. We can have breakfast at the Marriott or wherever I'm staying on the night of the 30th. It will be in the airport. And then after that we can go rent the car. Then I guess we can settle into the hotel if possible. I don't know we might need Hammy to do that.

We've been looking into travel options. Looks like if we can make it it's gonna be by train. Flying for the 3 of us is close to 1000 where as a train is like 400.
