14th Official Tournament Posted on: July 15, 2021, at 06:23:15pm Round 1: Exam Cram [Oni] (AAA) Let's goooo back with another Official!! (Apologies with a delayed post, but I will now begin to catch up) With regards to my current level in this game [105], I have even higher chances and hopes of making it to the Top 3!!!?! By the way a very interesting pattern is happening with my skill rating and tournament badges: In the 12th Official, I had a D8 Participant Badge and was level 101. In the 13th Official, I had a D8 Top 8 Badge and was level 103. Now in the 14th, I am currently level 105, and maybe, hopefully I can shoot for a Top 3? :D (It could keep going maybe, with me being level 107 in the 15th OT and getting 2nd place lol) Anyways, first song will be the harder version of Exam Cram and I was shocked to see it get used in the tournament lol. Two or three tries is all it took for me to AAA; it's a file that is all concentrated into a single skillset, and as well rounded as I am I can hit the stream patterns just fine (feels the same way for the majority of D8 players) D1 - AAA - ASGORE D2 - AAA - Blue Haven D3 - AAA - Roundtable Rival D4 - AAA - Debut D5 - AAA - THE BADDEST - All caps file in round 1 D5 twice in a row!! D6 - AAA - Elif and the Night of Twilight -Called- - Obligatory Se-U-Ra file! D7 - AAA - Angelic Jelly - This one was quite disgusting to AAA lol Round 2: The Bird's Snapshot Lifespan (AAA) Hey look, it's my file!! Taking a quick step away from stream and diving into some tech stuff. Pretty much around the same difficulty as Exam Cram, but it has more choke spots this time. I have to say Simfile Artist's advantage didn't award me that much, as it took me more than 15 attempts to solidify an AAA. In fact, I was already a little mindblocked on it to begin with. I almost lost it when I dropped the AAA run on the very end of the fast jumptrill roll with the two framer sdkflsldjfkjsdklf 8 AAA's on this one though not baaaaad Also fun fact: I stepped this in like 3 hours in one sitting, right before that one particular batch closed lmfao D1 - AAA - Reminisce - Shoutouts to kadef and AJ for making this in a short span of time lol D2 - AAA - Riptide D3 - AAA - Unshakable - Not to be confused with Unshakeable D4 - AAA - Forever D5 - AAA - Gym Leader Battle Music [Hi Tech Remix] D6 - AAA - life flashes before weeb eyes D7 - AAA - Nisemono - Love this song and chart~ Round 3: Zen'on (AAA) INSERT BABY/TODDLER/LITTLE KID AGGRESSIVELY MASHING A JOCOON PIANO I have to say that it only was fun for the first time lol, then I had to turn on mirror because I knew it wouldn't last long before I couldn't hit the [12]1[12]1 near the beginning. At least mirror significantly eases pretty much the entire chart, whiiiiiich meant that I had more frequent chances at winning the jack lottery in the end, but god, FUCK those bullshit mongoloid jacks in the end, absolute shithole garbage patterns that I had to go through 118 restarts LOL. Over a span of 3 days, managed a bit of rest in between sessions so I don't quickly end up in a mind trap (mirror was literally my best friend and this is the moment where I do not want to mindblock something stupid), the planets did line up on the 119th play and I somehow hit everything lmfao. Elah AAA'ed this in like the first 20 minutes, so cracked lol D1 - AAA - Mercy D2 - AAA - No Fear Anymore D3 - AAA - Materialize Anything D4 - AAA - Ordine D5 - AAA - Traveler ~Stand Aloof~ [Heavy] D6 - AAA - BarGain - maniera wannabe D7 - AAA - Nageki no mori (Breakcore Remix) - Gosh dang lots of people did really well on this wtf |
