I know I have a little over a month before it's time to start my new years resolutions but I need to start this one early. My new years resolution is not to lose weight as it has been each and every year for the past 10ish years. This year, my resolution is to get out of collections with Financial Aid, to get a deferment put on my loans, to get approved for another loan, and to return to law school hopefully by this time next year or around the middle of 2018! Here's to living out my dream and making it a reality!

So my best friend decided to finally jump on the A Song of Ice and Fire bandwagon. So, I'm being a good friend and am taking the journey alongside her so that she has moral support for her first time. So, currently working on A Song of Ice and Fire again and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms!

As most of you know from my last post, my uncle was told that he wasn't going to make it overnight and his family was brought in to say their goodbyes and we were all prepared for his passing. Well, the good news is, he made it through the night, he got the surgery he needed to fix what was wrong, he made it through the surgery with flying colors, and he is now resting and recovering! It's a medical miracle and the doctors have no explanation as to why this happened and they are in awe!

Talk about a shitty ass day! I called my grandma just to check in and she hit me with news I thought I wouldn't have to hear for at least a few years. My uncle is dying and isn't expected to make it through the night. His immediate family is being let in to say their goodbyes and what's worse is, I'm not immediate family so I won't get to tell him goodbye. All I can do is sit here and wait until I see a facebook post or get a call letting me know he's gone. He doesn't qualify for surgery to fix what's wrong and even if he did my uncle said he wouldn't go through with it because he's tired of fighting... I don't know how to feel or what to do or even what to say. All I've been doing since I found out is sitting around feeling emotionally numb so that I'm not feeling as bad once he does pass on. Although, I can say that the dam that's holding my emotions in right now will most likely burst when I hear the words "He's gone." I am just a wreck right now and I'm at a loss for words. I could really use some encouragement right about now because I can't get through this alone!
