Default TWG 207: The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel (side-episode) [GAME THREAD]

Hello students~ It is I, your awesome instructor, Sara Valestein! *winks*

You'll all be taking part in a military exercise together. I won't bore you with the details, but if you're interested in more than the essentials, I suggest you look at the next post! As for what matters more directly to you right now, you can find everything you need to know right here!

(OOC: The concept is that I'll write the fanfiction to reflect events from this game. The following "chapters" will only be revealed during postgame. I assume not a lot of people will care, but if even one of you does, it will be worth it! Praise Falcom.)

You are THE INSPECTOR, MACHIAS REIGNITZ, son of the Governor. You are TOWN ALIGNED.

You are a bold young man whose morals are governed by effort and rigid lawfulness. Your personal background, in the context of this exercise, will allow you to act with jurisdictional authority and conduct inspections on your fellow classmates.

Every NIGHT, you take it upon yourself to VISIT any housing of your choice and learn of the occupant’s ALIGNMENT.

This character is a traditional cop. Each night, you may PM the host and ask to know the alignment of a player of your choice.
You win when all scum-aligned players are eliminated.
You lose if the character “Millium” is eliminated.

You are THE WIND WARRIOR, GAIUS WORZEL, a proud Nord tribesman. You are TOWN ALIGNED.

ONE OF THE SKILLS you have picked up growing up on the lush Nord Highlands is to understand what the winds can say.

Every morning, the winds will tell you WHO VISITED YOUR LIVING QUARTERS, if such a thing occured. You MUST tell the others about who the winds told you about.

If the winds mention SCUM visitors, ONLY ONE of them will be named.

Of course... You don't have to be tooooooo upfront about it... You can be creative, if you don't want to be outed.

ANOTHER SKILL you have is to simply take matters in your own hands and TARGET THE PLAYER OF YOUR CHOICE in order to ELIMINATE THEM. You can only do this once, however, and if you do, that night, the winds WON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO TELL YOU.

This character is a severely tweaked Emcee/Vigilante. Whenever someone does any action that counts as a “visit” to you, you will be told via PM on the same night. If multiple scum-aligned players “visited” you, you will only know of one.
YOU MUST mention the players you have been messaged about in your first post of the following day. Failure to do so will result in modkill. However, you may be creative in how you decide to mention them if you do not wish to out yourself entirely. All that matters is that you mention the 2 players the PM has mentionned in your first post. The rest is up to you.
Each night, you have the option to target a player and eliminate them. You can only do this once in the game, and on the night this power is used, you do not gain any info if you were visited.
You win when all scum-aligned players are eliminated.
You lose if the character “Millium” is eliminated.

You are THE RADIANT BLADEMASTER'S DAUGHTER, LAURA S. ARSEID, daughter of Viscount Arseid and heir to the Arseid school of swordsmanship. You are TOWN ALIGNED.

Nobody can last a second in a battle against you (among you and your classmates, at least), and your gentle, elegant and honorable demeanor certainly does not dull your blade.

Your warrior instincts will kick in should anyone visit your housing unannounced and I’m afraid that they WILL NOT SURVIVE the encounter.

You are aware of this of course, and you know you might very well hurt your allies should they inadvertently end up in your quarters, so each night, it will be up to you to decide WHETHER OR NOT YOU WILL SLEEP WITH YOUR SWORD. If you don't, you will be vulnerable, but you won't risk killing your friends.

Otherwise, the only way they can get to you is if they come for THE WOMAN BEHIND THE WARRIOR. Or if you're arrested (the rules are the rules, I'm afraid, and it's not like you can actually take on instructor Sara one on one). Unless she's coming to eliminate you, in which case... You can get out of it alive, if you slept with your sword.

Your character is a tweaked grandma. The main differences are that you can be jailed, you can be roleblocked and you can be chosen by the 3rd party player, and you also have the choice whether or not to activate your power.
Each night, you may PM the host “I will sleep with my sword tonight” or “My sword will be locked away for the night. In the former case, any player that will “visit” you will be eliminated, friend or foe. In the latter case, you will be a vanilla town. Failure to PM the host will assume that you are sleeping with your sword.
You win when all scum-aligned players are eliminated.
You lose if the character “Millium” is eliminated.
You are immune to the strongman skill.

You are THE MONARCH, JUSIS ALBAREA, son of Duke Albarea, head of one of the 4 great houses. You are TOWN ALIGNED.

You may not be the only student of royal heritage among your classmates, but you are certainly at the top of the monarch hierarchy here.

You can exert your sovereign birthrights in this town to a small extent : If the people desire it, instead of EXECUTING someone among your classmates, you may instead put someone on house arrest for a round of PRIVATE QUESTIONING with them.

Once the questioning is over, it will be up to you to LET THEM GO or to LET THEM LIVE. They will NOT KNOW who you are.

Make sure to act quickly. You have to arrest and question the person of your choice over the course of THE SAME LYNCH-LESS NIGHT. Your instructor will take care of the arrest, so you don't risk getting harmed in the process.

It would also be wise to use this power to keep MILLIUM out of trouble...

Oh, and one more thing: Just because you had someone put in jail doesn't make you safer. You CAN STILL BE HUNTED.

You are a tweaked Jailor. For as long as you are part of the game, during daytime, you may collectively choose to not lynch any target and instead let you pick a player to confine entirely for the night.
If town instas a target anyway, you do not get to do anything that night.
You will also have the opportunity to have a private chat with this player.
Make sure to decide on who to jail quickly, if you wish to have a chance to interrogate them.
You will also decide their fate (note that you may be roleblocked from eliminating the player, and if you are killed that night, you do not get to eliminate your prisonner).
The player you jail will not take any action that night, with the exception of the character “Emma”, who can still use her power.
The player you jail will also be kept safe from other players, again with the exception of “Emma”, who can use her power to affect the player you have jailed.
You win when all scum-aligned players are eliminated.
You lose if the character “Millium” is eliminated.

Here is the link to your interrogation chatroom:

You are THE MUSICIAN, ELLIOT CRAIG, an easy-going, fun-loving teenager who ended up in the military due to your father’s influence as General Olaf Craig. You are TOWN ALIGNED.

You have little interest in aggressive tactics and instead would rather spread positive things in the world. Maybe the military marching band would cater more to your personal morals.

Your music can heal, soothe and protect people you think are in need, and you can visit any of your classmates’ housings and keep them company for the night. While you are by their side, NOTHING CAN HAPPEN TO THEM.

Unfortunately, YOU CANNOT SELECT THE SAME HOUSING TWO NIGHTS IN A ROW, so you’ll have to go on a little tour instead. Or TAKE THE NIGHT OFF.

And naturally, you CAN'T SERENADE YOURSELF. I mean, you can. but you'll still be vulnerable.

Your character is a traditional medic. You protect your target from nightkills.
You may not select the same target on consecutive nights.
You cannot protect yourself.
You win when all scum-aligned players are eliminated.
You lose if the character “Millium” is eliminated.

You are THE ALL-KNOWING CHILD, MILLIUM ORION, the newest and most mysterious addition to Class VII. You are TOWN ALIGNED.

You KNOW EVERYTHING about everyone here from the get-go, a little perk from your background as part of the intelligence division of the Imperial Army. But other than that, you're a clumsy little girl, and I'm sorry to say this, but you won't be able to rely on Airgetlam for the duration of this exercise.

You will still take part in it, but you must stay out of trouble at any cost. Your friends will be there to help you, but they'll also be there to get you... And should you fail to stay safe, ALL OF YOUR TEAMMATES WILL FAIL WITH YOU. You have been warned, so take this seriously, MILLIUM.

Your character is a traditional Merlin. You will find the full distribution of roles below.
A special rule for this character is that if you are paired with the 3rd party character, you are not eliminated if he is.
You win when all scum-aligned players are eliminated.
You lose if you are eliminated.

You are THE FOREWOMAN, ALISA REINFORD, daughter of Irina Reinford, chairwoman of the largest heavy industry corporation in the world. You are TOWN ALIGNED.

You are very bossy by nature and you get away with more than you should (thanks to your good looks), as proof that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree in your family. This somehow translates to an incredible sense of business and leadership.

In your position, you can restore order in discussion by stepping up and VOIDING EVERYONE’S CONDEMNING VOTE before limiting the options to TWO CLASSMATES OF YOUR CHOICE. Your methods may be questionable, but you can't argue with results. If you intend to do this, please keep in mind that you should give your classmates AT LEAST ONE HOUR just so they can properly assess their now limited options.

You may be a cutie, but you'll only be allowed to pull this off ONCE. I'm sure you would rub people the wrong way a little too much otherwise...

You are a traditional Pollster. Once per game, you can post the image below and every prior vote on that day will be nullified. On top of that, you must also name the two players the lynch vote will be split between.
Even if the character “Jusis” is alive, if you use this power, there cannot be a “No Lynch”, and if there is a tie, it will come down to Knife in the Box. You are therefore guaranteeing one of the two players will be eliminated from the game.
You may only use this power if there is more than an hour left to the day.
Posting the image if you are not the character “Alisa” will result in a modkill.
You win when all scum-aligned players are eliminated.
You lose if the character “Millium” is eliminated.

You are THE PLAYBOY, CROW ARMBRUST, one of the newer additions to class VII. You are SCUM ALIGNED.

You’ve actually been sent back a year to join this class, and even though the academy hoped you would straighten up, it seems you have no interest in doing so.

You may pull your load to help your team win, but all you’re really interested about is what’s under the schoolgirls’ uniforms, and that just about sums up your plans for the exercise. Heck, you’ll even hook up with the guys if it can help you pass the time. And you know you are sly enough to pull off the seduction with any of these impressionable chumps.

EACH NIGHT, you can convince anyone you want to come spend the night with you. They’ll be BLOCKED from doing anything else they might have planned on that night...

Also, your team can ask me to help you taking out a target of your choice. They can't do anything to stop me, of course, but I'LL ONLY DO THIS ONCE, so use this advantage wisely.

You are a tweaked hooker/roleblocker. You affect any character, with the exception of “Rean”. The character “Jusis” will still be able to jail and interrogate, but not execute.
To use your power, simply tell the host via PM or via team discord.
Your team has a single strongman hit (bypasses jailor and medic).
You win if the character “Millium” is eliminated.
You lose if you and all of your teammates are eliminated.

Here is the invite link to your team's discord:

You are THE JAEGER SENTINEL, FIE CLAUSSELL, a former child soldier. You are SCUM ALIGNED.

Being raised on the battlefield has sharpened all of your senses. It’s probably why you feel so cat-like.

This is why you know from experience when your cover is blown. And that fool MACHIAS doesn’t have a chance at investigating you or your teammates without you noticing. You will sort of act as a captain to them, since you are the most experienced in covert operations like this.

If he tries, YOU WILL KNOW WHO WAS INVESTIGATED.

On top of this passive ability, as captain, you have the ability to take someone out extra clean. If it ISN'T MILLIUM, you can DELAY A VICTIM'S CARDFLIP BY A DAY. You may also use this power to COVER THE IDENTITY OF YOU OR ONE OF YOUR PARTNERS for an extra day as well.

Also, your team can ask me to help you taking out a target of your choice. They can't do anything to stop me, of course, but I'LL ONLY DO THIS ONCE, so use this advantage wisely.

You are a severely tweaked informant. When “Machias” investigates you or one of your partners, you will be messaged about the fact.
Additionally, any nightkill you perform yourself will delay the cardflip until the following day.
You may also use this power on a teammate. If they are lynched on the following day, their cardflip won't happen until the next day.
You may also use this power on yourself. This will work even if you are jailed.
To use your power, simply tell the host via PM or via team discord.
Your team has a single strongman hit (bypasses jailor and medic).
You win if the character “Millium” is eliminated.
You lose if you and all of your teammates are eliminated.

Here is the invite link to your team's discord:

You are THE WITCH, EMMA MILLSTEIN, ace student with a supernatural background. You are SCUM ALIGNED.

You appear shy and bashful, but that is merely a ruse to conceal your origins. Instructor Sara knows you have special powers.

She won’t let you use all of them, but she’ll let you use at least one of your tricks : you can TARGET SOMEONE AT NIGHT and they will have to DECLARE THEIR IDENTITY IN THE FIRST POST OF THE FOLLOWING DAY. We can call this "hypnotism", but Instructor Sara knows what you’re really doing here...

Oh, and by the way... You only get to use your powers TWICE, AND NOT CONSECUTIVELY. We don't want to make it too easy for you! On the flipside, unlike your fellow wolves, if you eliminate an opponent yourself, you CAN STILL CAST YOUR CURSE ON A DIFFERENT TARGET. Also, DON'T USE IT ON THE FIRST NIGHT.

Oh, and one last thing. You CANNOT USE IT ON THE FIRST NIGHT.

Also, your team can ask me to help you taking out a target of your choice. They can't do anything to stop me, of course, but I'LL ONLY DO THIS ONCE, so use this advantage wisely.

You are a tweaked mesmer. You may select a target, and this target will have to reveal their rolled character immediately on the next day.
You may only use your power twice, but it bypasses the powers of both the characters “Elliot” and “Laura”.
You cannot use your power on N1. You cannot use your power on consecutive nights. The earliest you can use your two shots are once on N2 and once on N4.
Additionally, even if you perform the nightkill, you may still use this power on a different target, which is a trait unique to you.
To use your power, simply tell the host via PM or via team discord.
Your team has a single strongman hit (bypasses jailor and medic).
You win if the character “Millium” is eliminated.
You lose if all of your teammates are eliminated.

Here is the invite link to your team's discord:

You are THE PROTAGONIST, REAN SCHWARZER. You are a THIRD PARTY FACTION.

Why are you here, Rean? Instructor Sara told you, you are to observe this exercise and not take part in it. This is your duty.

Or is it? Maybe you have SOMETHING ELSE on your mind. And come to think of it, you always tend to butt in other people’s business. It’s just the kind of person you are.

What makes you special is the bonds you share with your classmates, after all. Maybe it’s not right to keep you on the sidelines…

Here’s the deal. I will allow you to participate, but you WON’T BE ALIGNED WITH EITHER TEAM. Instead, you will pick the housing of WHOEVER YOU WANT and team up with them to help them make it through this exercise unscathed. THEY WILL KNOW ABOUT THIS, of course, but they won't know your identity. I guess they will have to deduce who their guardian angel is! Please pick someone BEFORE THE EXERCISE FULLY STARTS, though.

If either of you two falls, it’s game over.

You are a tweaked Lover. You have to select a player before the game starts (you will need to message the host the name of the player via PM), and you will be paired with them for the entirety of the game.
Failure to do so will result in modkill.
Your fate and your partner's will be tied. If one is eliminated, so is the other.
If your partner is “Millium”, then they won't be eliminated if you are.
You win if you and your partner are alive at the end of the game.
You lose if either you or your partner is eliminated.

TLDR Character roles:
Machias: Checks alignment. Dies if visits armed Laura.
Gaius: Watches himself every night and MUST name the player he was informed about in the first post of the next day. Has a one-shot vigilante bullet (vulnerable to Laura), doing it cancels emcee powers for the night.
Laura: Eliminates anyone who visits at night (except Crow (if he's seducing only) and Rean, as well as Jusis) if she chooses to sleep with her sword. Immune to strongman kill (if her power is active).
Jusis: Can jail if there is no lynch. During the night, can anonymously question the player before deciding their fate. If he is killed or roleblocked, the jailing still happens, but the killing is cancelled.
Elliot: Protects the target (or dies to Laura). Cannot select the same target twice in a row. Cannot protect himself.
Millium: Knows everyone's precise flip, taking her out wins the game for scum.
Alisa: Can force unvote everyone and thunderdome the two players of her choice. (1 shot only)
Crow: Roleblocks the target (including Laura).
Fie: Knows if any scum-aligned player has been alignment checked by Machias. If she performs the kill, delays cardflip by a day (except Millium). May instead conceal a teammate's death (or her own) for a day.
Emma: Forces a player to state their identity on the next day. This does not count as visiting. (2 shots only, not on consecutive nights, not on N1)
Rean: Partners with another player of his choice and they both must survive until endgame to win (He joins the alignment of the chosen player as far as player count/alignment checking is concerned). One thing to mention: If Rean partners with Millium, Millium stays in the game if Rean is eliminated.
Scum team: Has a single strongman hit (ignores all nightkill protection).
- Game starts on D1.
- “No Lynch” is ON, but only IF the Jailor is alive. Also, until the jailor is removed from the game, lynches MUST be insta. "Having the most votes" will not result in a lynch.
- If the Jailor is removed from the game, No Lynch is OFF, insta remains ON and knife in the box is ON as well.
- Out of thread communication (outside of specific role perks) is forbidden.
- 48 hours day phases, 24 hours night phases.
- Failure to commit to some role duties may result in modkills.
- Fake claiming, even pretending to follow host and role instructions, is a legal move (unless stated otherwise, i.e. posting the Alisa image while being a different character).
- Minimum posting will be enforced (no less than ~5 game relevant posts per 48 hours day phases. I reserve judgement for phases that end early due to instas).
- All 3 scum-aligned players can use their powers during the night, including the one performing the kill.
- Scum-aligned players can stack powers onto the same target.
- The nightkiller can only use his skill onto the person he is killing.
- All other standard FFR TWG rules apply.
- The scum team gets an a single-use strongman hit (ignores whatever prevents the kill).

Win conditions:
- Town wins if all scum are removed from the game (or nothing can prevent it).
- Scum wins if the merlin is taken down.
- Lover wins if they are alive with their partner at the end of the game.
- If the last scum player is eliminated on the same night as the Merlin, this results in a draw.

1: Hakulyte KILLED N1, FLIP DELAYED

7: Arp!
8: ToonE156
9: XelNya
10: mellon_collie
11: Sourissette

- Replacements -

1: Shadow_God_10
2: star-crossed
3: TheTrueXfish

The exercise will start at 0h01, Saturday, August 19th. Do not post until then!~

Oh, and you should receive each of your IDs shortly. You'll need them for our trip. Don't lose them!

Notes:
[19-08-23 0:02 AM] Sunfan and I just disagreed on how to handle parity situations. I decide that so long as there are active powers that can still be used strategically to slow down scum teams, the game will go on. If there are no such powers still in play, then the game will end. If Sunfan is right and you guys hate this I will buy him something after the game.
[19-08-23 11:29 AM] I've never rolled wolf as a player so I had no idea this was a thing, but it was brought to my attention that scum-aligned players aren't always supposed to use scum chat during day phases, at least not unless specified. I ultimately decided to allow them to use it, and I'm letting you all know of the fact that from now on, their chat will be active at all time.
[20-08-23 9:44 PM] Players may insta "no lynch" while the jailor is alive.
[21-08-23 11:02 PM] The description for Jusis mentionned that he could not kill on N1. This is an error. It was originally this way because this setup had a night start. Since this game was changed to have a day start, it no longer applied, but the edit slipped through the cracks.
[22-08-23 1:26 PM] While the OP never stated it, yes, scum chat is indeed disabled for jailed wolves. I apologize for the confusion.

Default Re: TWG 208: The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel (side-episode) [GAME THREAD]

It has now been 6 months since the new Class VII was put together. It's pretty safe to say it has been a big success! All these kids, even though they are from drastically different walks of life, they've really come into their own.

I've been eagerly awaiting today. I will get to test the wits of my dear students. Thor's Military Academy's board of directors - no, all of Erebonia - is betting everything on them, so we have to make sure they'll have what it takes to save our world.

We're going to conduct a special class exercise. We left Trista yesterday, got off the train in Heimdallr, went shopping for the whole day to pick up the gear and other ressources we will need, then later that evening, hopped on the overnight train on our way to Roer.

Miss Irina Reinford, chairwoman of the Reinford Group, has arranged for us to use one of their old facilities as a training ground. Upon arriving at the location, after running down some stairs, we ended up in a small windowed corridor. Looking through the windows, we could see that it peered into an old abandoned Hangar. Wrecked war contraptions, containers and obsolete orbal gear were pushed against the walls, as though a bulldozer shoved everything that was in the room out of the way. We kept going down until we reached a large metal door. I turned the wheel and the door opened with a loud groan.

In the center of the hangar was a number of identical small buildings, about 10 arge long and 5 arge wide. According to our specifications, they should each contain a bed, a small toilet and other basic conveniences. There are some more buildings laying around; I can tell there is a small holding cell in the far back.

It's pretty early. I can tell the kids are feeling rather groggy. I can't blame them, I know sleeping on the night train can be tough on young soldiers. Better not waste any time.

I drop my giant rucksack to the ground and clear my voice.

“Alright, I want your attention everyone, I promise I'll make it quick.”

I can see all of their little tired eyes slowly peering in my direction.

“You've all become quite good friends with each other. You've also become very dependable in society. Ahh, you would all make very fine Bracers. But alas, I'm still acting as your lovely military instructor, not as a recruiter for the Roer branch of the Bracer Guild.”

I'm already losing their attention. I should really get to the point.

“For the next few days, we're going to see what you're really made of. You are all to camp here, you can use the containers over there as lodgings, but you are not to share a unit with anyone else, understood?”

The students nod at me, I can tell they're trying hard to pay attention. I reach for the bag I dropped and pull out from it some unusual-looking visors.

“Before you all go on with your day, you must all put these on, right now.”

I put the strange pieces of headgear back in the bag, then toss the bag towards my students. They gather around it and start putting on the visors, as instructed.

“Very good! Aw, you make me all fuzzy inside, being so obedient.”

I take a remote out of one of my pockets and push a couple buttons. Some students are freaked out, others are mildly shocked. Maybe I should have warned them that they would not be able to remove the visors anymore (teehee!). I push some more buttons to turn the devices on, now that they are locked onto their wearer's heads.

“Haha, sorry about that... But I think you'll find that these are pretty cool devices, you know! They're made with cutting-edge orbal technology, courtesy of the Epstein Foundation. Do you know what they do? I think you should take a good look at each other.”

As I say those words, I can see the students looking at each other, looking confused. It seems, however, that they understand what's going on.

“That's right! It makes everyone around you sound and look just like me, your dreamy instructor! <3 Isn't that cool?”

The only reaction I get is a few irritated groans coming my way. Before I have the time to figure out which ones had the audacity to voice their frustration, I continue.

“If you're either Fie, Crow, Emma, would you kindly pay attention?”

The students I called out shortly met my gaze. The others are looking around, still in apparent disbelief from watching all these “instructor Sara doppelgangers” around them.

“You will find an orbal radio terminal in each of your apartments. You can use it to communicate with one another. Your mission is to eliminate a specific target from the rest of the group. Now, I would be a bad instructor if I had you actually kill your classmates, so all you really have to do is to smash the switch at the back of their visor. It will mostly safely render its wearer unconscious, and I'll personally remove them from the Hangar. If you have any questions, now is the time to voice them.”

All that can be heard is my voice echoing through the hangar. I continue.

“Now if Millium would step forward, I would appreciate it.”

Millium came forward. Of course, again, no one else is realizing this is actually Millium, they just see another instructor Sara clone. As Millium reaches me, I pull out the remote again and punch in a certain code. As soon as I do, I can see her visor changing modes.

“Millium is the only one who now knows your real identities. This exercise will not have any secret for her, but there's a catch: She is the target. Everyone else must do what they can to incapacitate Fie, Crow and Emma before they can take out Millium. And before you ask, no, this isn't going to be full-on warfare in here. We're going to proceed like what we've been doing in our field studies so far!”

I hear some of them release a sigh of relief, while others seem more disappointed.

“All of you will spend the coming days using your various areas of expertise within the ruleset I've put together – You'll find documentation on what you can and cannot do over the course of this exercise in your respective housings – to try and solve this situation out of wits, guts and trust. You will need to voice your opinions and listen to those of your fellow classmates in order to succeed.”

Before I go in greater details about the task at hand, I put my weight on my other hip, a habit I picked up from the Icy Maiden over the years.

“Every day, you will discuss and figure out whether or not to remove someone from the group. You will know what everyone is allowed to do, but you won't know who anyone is, at least not from how they appear directly. You do not need to know that in order to strategize, you can take it upon yourself to call for the right person to perform a certain action, and see if they listen to you. If you do decide on someone, your lovely instructor will dashingly swoop in and knock out the person of interest. This can only happen once per day, after which you will go back to your personal activities in your housings. Your goal is to incapacitate the three trying to take out Millium before they do just that. You will also be issued code names, of course.”

I take a deeper breath, and balance my weight back onto my other hip. I'm getting old!

“Some of you will be permitted to leave your housings at night to conduct some specific activities in order to complete this exercise. This is especially true for Fie, Crow and Emma, who not only can do the same thing, but they're also allowed to incapacitate one of you guys per night. I'll collect the bodies in the morning. I'd sleep with an eye open, if I were you... Not that it would change anything, since I picked these three due to their proficiency at covert operations. Anyway, remember, if Millium is taken out, you all fail this exercise. Well, the three responsible for this will win, but if you're all as good as you're supposed to be, they shouldn't be able to pull this off.”

I reach into my rucksack and pull out another bag full of bottles of hard liquor that produces that muffled glass clinking sound I’m all too familiar with.

“I think it's good enough for a briefing. Please make a line in front of me. I'll give each of you a piece of paper which corresponds to your housing and codenames – Oh, there is one more thing. I didn't intend to have Rean participate, but he insisted. He's gonna have an objective of his own, which will be to protect himself along with someone of his choosing. He doesn't really have to focus on the whole figuring-out-who-Millium-is thing as much as you guys need to, however, or at least not directly. Rean will do Rean, my lovelies, and he has his own demons to conquer in that respect. Alright now, one by one, come to me, then pick up your bags and head to your new home. I'll be watching from the control center above, and if I need to tell you guys anything, I'll just use the hangar's intercom. Naturally, I'm going to lock the door behind me, so no use trying to leave this area until the exercise is complete.”

I proceed to hand each of the students their respective papers, then I wish them a good time as they pick up their heavy rucksacks and drag themselves to their housings. I then turn back to the stairs, making sure to lock the big steel door behind me. I proceed to the upper floor where I set up camp right in front of the security console, having a great view of the whole hangar. I pour myself a drink and start taking notes pertaining to my observations. I start by assigning each of my students to their new IDs. I smile and ponder about how I, the Purple Lightning, turned into such a great military instructor!

“Alright guys, it's all up to you now. Prove to me that Prince Olivert is right to believe in you all.”

Would vote Haku for lurking but he once went out of his way to say nice things about my Ys playthrough years after I streamed it so for the Falcom game he gets the D1 Pass

Congratz on defeating Dark Fact. That felt like complete random chaos based on your attempts.

As for this game, I might just pretend PRs don't exist and try to see who feel like solving. If you do that, I will town read you instantly even if you're a wolf.

The more friends, the better.

my strategy is to trust everyone until someone I trust is revealed to not be town, at which point I no longer trust anyone

I already remember why I post like an unpleasant person, and we're not even on page two.

Arp i'm going to let you in on a secret in hopes that you take me seriously, but not personally.

I lied in the pregame, I am absolutely going to bully you if your posts look like that, or if you go to the Haku school of over complication. He's got a PHD in progression detours, and two of you would be... Unpleasant, if not unproductive, and I don't have the brain rot to spare for it.
