I share the same sentiments as well. I wish I started climbing at a younger age so I could've had a smoother and more natural skill progression. I started climbing 5 years ago, and was sending V7 (7A+) right when the pandemic began (currently 29). Had I started at a younger age, I'd most likely be able to climb V9/V10 (7C/7C+) by now given my current progression, rip. I haven't touched plastic holds since early March.
