osculation = kissing! I actually know this one from one of my old math classes because there is a concept in vector calc known as the osculating plane

nidification = building a nest

tonsorial = no idea

Do I seem like the type to lie about that? The vocabulary comes from being a lifelong and very prolific reader. I read 72 novels last year, 33,451 pages. So far this year I'm at 36 novels and about 20,000 pages. Add in a degree in history and philosophy, and I have some pretty esoteric vocabulary.

edit: Incertitude is the first word in your entire list that it even occurs to me that "most" people wouldn't know and it's in category 4
