This number probably varies substantially depending on your daily reading material and what languages you've studied; I would have never encountered a word like "tatterdemalion" if I didn't have friends in theater. My girlfriend would beat my score on this test for sure, in large part because she voraciously reads English lit from the 1700s to the 1900s.

i think this test should b limited 2 verbs and adjectives, the amount of nouns u kno iz p dependent on yr interests, education, and etc.

e.g. haz spoiler o0o0o0o0o
e.g. yr only gonna kno what "ragamuffin" meanz if u like cats or have owned a ragamuffin cat.

ps. like reach says v below me v, a lot of yr scores i call BULLSHIT on. its not whether or not u have seen a word b4, its whether or not u can use it effectively.
