Like good God, this is ridiculous. You all knew going into it that your job was to coach, and that ultimately, it was a game for the newer players, and yet ALMOST IMMEDIATELY INTO DAY 1, the vets took over.
If you guys want to play TWG, that is totally fine and understandable, BUT DO IT IN YOUR ARENA: NORMAL TWG GAMES. NOT jTWG.
As a spectator, I was hoping to see some balanced action from both the vets and the newbs, but ultimately I knew this would end up being a shitshow and the vets would run rampant over the game. Lo and behold, I was proven right.
Don't get me wrong though, some vets knew what was up: I give applause to Kayla, Gradiant, and possibly Xiz (I'm still thinking you were playing UTR) for wanting to give their teammates the brunt of the play.
Charu also gets a slight nod because he knew when he had to take over.
That said, the fact that every single vet, with the exception of Kayla and Xiz, more than DOUBLED their partners' post count leads me to only assume you all forgot your role in the game and took over for yourselves. Maybe I don't have enough info (for all I know your QTs and Skype conversations are all loaded with back-and-forth banter) but from what I can see, the vets took over and basically made this their own game.
AJ already addressed this, and I have a feeling I'm going to get ninja'd as I type this, but seriously, I'm frustrated with how this game went. I've talked with a few people on this, and in my opinion, the vets should've been silent for all of Day 1. After Day 2 begins, then they can have their say in the game, but ultimately, this was a game meant for newer players that got taken over by the ones who were supposed to be coaches moreso than players.

Choof, you played great.
Kayla, again props to you for letting choof take control for your team.
Tox, I quite liked your play. I was thinking it could possibly be you and Gradiant after Xiz flipped (gut read), but you handled yourself well.

I hope pocky doesn't hate me. I literally had a shit ton of work, and was super busy this week. I couldn't check the thread as often

Also, I +1 what T-Force says. A little disappointing in vets EDIT: (Very disappointed). Even though jrodd and v played an amazing game, I wanted to see dance or blind to catch us.

I'm pretty sad that I had to drop out, (my schedule went from clear to completely full right after the game started,) because I was really looking forward to this game. Charles, I think you did a great job of coaching me for the short time I was playing, so thank you for that. =3
I do agree that the vets should have eased off the posting and let their newbie partners do most of the playing. I think Halogen's idea for a revised version of this game would be awesome.
