We are testing a new configuration for the multiplayer server this afternoon and fixing a few bugs. You may notice sporadic service during this period only within multiplayer.

There is always someone in multiplayer. It is impossible to do it when nobody is on. There is a problem within the multiplayer configuration that is causing heavy system load and overloading the server. When everyone is off of school and trying to play, it makes the problem even worse.
Eventually what ends up happening is I give up my thanksgiving meal and sit infront of a shell window restarting the database and httpd every 30 minutes so that everyone can play.
Or… I can take it down and find a solution so that I can work on things that make a difference on the site. (think 3rd style)

It can be annoying with no multiplayer and profile chat but patience is quite useful when comes in handy. I mean he is working his ass off to fix it, give the guy a break.

install down mode arrows into multiplayer already
I’ve been waiting since multiplayer came out for this lol. And yes, i tried getting used to arrows flowing up.
