Been having stomach pains and diarrhea for over a week on and off every other day or so. Finally going to the doctor on Monday to hopefully get something to make this stop. It's been rather draining on me for the past while since I feel horrible all the time and don't really feel like playing anything.

Hopefully once it's cleared up I'll get back to games and stuff. It's really annoying having no energy all the time or just feeling so shitty that I don't want to do anything but just curl up in bed x.x

I recently bought two used SNES controllers in the hopes that one would be good enough for speedrunning. Boy was I wrong...The first controller was completely dead except for the B button (got a full refund) and the second controller seemed fine but now the R button is extremely flakey and randomly decides to stop working. I've tried cleaning the contacts on the board, swapping out the rubber bits, and even the button itself, but nothing seems to work. I think the wires might be messed up or something but I really have no idea how to diagnose something like that.

I think I'm just going to suck it up and spend $80-$90 for a brand new controller since buying used doesn't seem to be working out. So much for trying to save money...

Man, I forgot how fun it is to work on graphical programming. Spent the past couple of days integrating a system for supporting per-pixel lighting for lots of lights as well as PSSM 3 shadows. Most of today was spent debugging the shaders to figure out why the lights weren't affecting the shadows and I just FINALLY figured it out. Now it's just a matter of blending the colors together to get the desired effect :D One problem down, lots more to go...

Holy shit, when we started working on ID Maker 3 we had no idea it would take TWO FUCKING YEARS to finish it. After today we're finally finished working on that stupid thing and can get back to work on the game we were supposed to have been working on this entire time.

It's going to be a rather steep learning curve since none of us have really looked at the code much in two years time and it's rather complicated from what I remember. Also means I won't be able to go out as much anymore since I'll be working seven days a week again trying to get this thing done ASAP. So that's gonna suck :( I'm also not going to be paid anymore since we won't be working for QSI anymore, which means my only source of income is going to be whatever unemployment I can get. I'm going to slowly start bleeding out money month by month, but luckily I have over 20k in the bank so I can last quite a long time with only loans and health insurance to pay each month (plus whatever other random expenses come up).

Just spent the past hour and a half cleaning up water that flooded all over the place from this piece of shit washing machine that uses a hose that you have to manually drain into a sink next to it. Whoever came up with this thing needs to be shot -_-

Thanks! AAAs always used to be a lot more difficult for me until I learned to deal with the nerves. I still get pretty shaky when I'm AAAing something and I'm like 1000+ notes in but the more AAAs I kept trying for the easier it was to not get so nervous. And yeah man you should go for it! I'm sure you could get over 200 easily!

That's an impressive set of scores in the scores thread you posted today. Awesome stuff. Especially the op.9 and blue-violet.
