No this does not mean I am quitting. I am simply going to stop caring as much about trying to improve, etc. and play just for fun, as such I will not be joining any tournaments until the next official either. I'll still be lurking the forums as usual, but for now, I'm going to focus on other games and FFR will be low on my priority list.

Prologue - First Official in D5, I kinda wish I could be D4 one more time, but I know I'm never allowed back there. I also won't be trying as hard as I should because of the cwc (Catch the Beat World Cup on osu!) which if you would like to watch my progress, just let me know! The first couple plays I had to restart because of lag halfway in, which yes did cause a little rage. First full play was 2-0-1-0, then 3-0-0-1, then 1-0-1-0 (-_-) I must say this file isn't really bad or anything but aside from being a tourney file nothing too memorable. Blackflagged after about 20 restarts, but I raged from it being in the last 50 notes and punched the keyboard forcing a restart. Actually got a recorded Blackflag on a gay easy part, but it doesn't matter because I AAA'd. See you next week D5.

As typical with VC+ YoshL files, I wasn't expecting a fun file. I didn't really have an issue with the first 1200 notes, as I can probably AAA it very easily, but the ending is nothing short of a big fuck you. I'll AAA it on video since I've already pulled off a 2 clean run.

Welp couldn't get the AAA the next day as planned, so stopped playing for a couple days and now I can't get over mindblocks and the one time I did I fucked up and got 1-0-0-1, really doubt I'll try again seeing as it's safe.

This file was A LOT better than I was initially expecting it to be, I find it very well stepped and overall an enjoyable file. However it has proven very difficult to AAA as I constantly drop goods everywhere. I'll keep attempting to fix my score over the week but I'm not sure if I can.

EDIT: Managed a BF then got the AAA bout an hour later.

As soon as this file was released, I played it and suddenly thought it was it for me, I may be good at jumpstream, but when it's really dense and drags on for a while, I can't keep up and eventually start dropping goods left and right. I had initially just given up at that point but now that it's the last couple days I've decided to do everything in my power to learn how to play it and make it to the next round. So far I've just been playing things far from my comfort zone and then going back to Sleep, so far it's paying off, but I've still got a far way to go if I wanna see myself make the top 16!

Epilogue - As expected after my initial improvement on Sleep, I suddenly couldn't do well anymore and kinda gave up, would have been real nice to go further, but I'm not ready to compete with the higher end of D5 yet. Maybe next Official I'll do a little better.

Will probably be playing FFR less over the next couple weeks as I'm more interested in the cwc (Catch the Beat World Cup) on osu than the official tourney. Will still be trying of course, but since I don't expect to get far to begin with since I'm low D5, I don't care all too much.
