Doug's FFR top players list

I upgraded my program to determine how good players are, and I think it's actually very accurate now. Although it rounds so that it probably shouldn't be an exact tie for 3rd, but w/e. This is all from the program and not subjective in any way.

1. DossarLX ODI 506 (best scores: Revo and RATO)
2. Samurai7694 500 (best score: do i smile?)
T-3. leonid 495 (best scores: Winter Wind Etude, Revo, and RATO)
T-3. AlexDest 495 (best score: Rave7)
T-3. One Winged Angel 495 (best score: crowdpleaser)
6. TC_Halogen 494 (best scores: Extratone Pirates (Drunk Optimus Remix) and do i smile?)
7. smartdude1212 492 (best scores: Winter Wind Etude and do is smile?)
8. xXOpkillerXx 491 (best scores: Extratone Pirates (Drunk Optimus Remix) and Rave7)
9. Zephoror 484 (best scores: Eclipse (Solar), Jamais Vu, and do i smile?)
10. Xayphon 482 (best scores: grind2 and crowdpleaser)
T-11. Staiain 481 (best scores: Almost There and RATO)
T-11. LongGone 481 (best scores: grind2 and Revo)

About 1000? Me 359 (best scores: 0 (piano version) and Starwolf)

It'd be really cool if there were some way to actually find out my rank in terms of some sort of skill tester thingy like this and then it'd be exciting trying to move up ranks in it.

  1. i am hurt

  2. Your program needs A LOT of work.

  3. But for serious though... how is this calculated?

  4. Sorry I just didn't think to check on you but really you're a 493. It gives a value to your best scores and adds those up. It's a bit complicated to explain exactly but I can if you really want.

  5. 493 for Eze? wtf?

  6. 493 sounds about right, still wonder how does it work though yeah.

  7. From the looks of it, some players' rating is a little underrated (smartdude, Staiain, AlexDest) if you compare their scores to the other D7 players and such.

  8. Well, it only takes into account public songs, and yeah, AlexDest should be higher but it doesn't see stuff like Party for you V1 AAA. Here's how it works:
It's sort of like your highest difficulty 5 or fewer, best 10 or fewer, best 20 or fewer, best 40 or fewer, and best 80 or fewer goods, except that on each song you are given a bonus 1 point for each 20% fewer goods you ha than the requirement. So it's really just your 5 "best" scores.

  9. Ahh, okay.

  10. Just used the formula, the main thing I think you should do is have different weightages for different criterias (5 or fewer being the biggest weightage) and remove the bonus altogether. You should probably not use the same song for each tier though, one score alone doesn't determine a person's division.

  11. Good ideas. Before it didn't have the bonus thing and some of my scores were way under the requirements so I thought it could be better. But it really should get off of just counting a player's best 1-3 scores like it's doing right now for most people. New idea:
    Best 2 or fewer * 10 +
    Best 5 or fewer * 9 +
    Best 10 or fewer * 8 +
    Best 15 or fewer * 7 +
    Best 20 or fewer * 6 +
    Best 25 or fewer * 5 +
    Best 30 or fewer * 4 +
    Best 40 or fewer * 3 +
    Best 50 or fewer * 2 +
    Best 75 or fewer
And each must be a unique song, and I can easily make it maximized so that you get the highest possible score it can give you with forcing each to be a unique song. I'll make this when I feel like it.
