September 2014 Site Updates
Just a small update this month to tide over everyone as we continue development on some big, exciting updates. See you all again next month!
What’s New?
——
You can now use checkboxes to delete multiple replays at a time!
You no longer require Veteran status to view other players’ levelranks or the extended song leaderboards. Expect more old “subscription-only” features to be made available for all users in the near future.
“Customize Forum Profile” has been removed from the user control panel, as it has to do with a forum profile styling that no longer exists.
“Thumbs down” profile voting has been disabled in preparation for a new profile feedback system that will be test run this month.

The checkboxes on replays is pretty much the greatest thing ever.

screening and forever cherishing the one downvote i’ve gotten in my entire history here, for it will never happen again.

So, is there anything vet-only left around here other than the cool badge we get? Do like having the badge at least.

Removing the downvote makes the thumbs up less significant. Without its counterpart, the downvote; the thumbs up becomes meaningless. Why not remove the thumbs up and only have thumbs down? The same effect would be acheived. If we are going to turn the downvotes and upvotes into just one thumbs up, why should it remain a thumbs up? It would be more apt to replace the thumbs up with a middle finger: a middle finger to all those who still wish to give a downvote.

According to your medical history, the thumb you have recently lost, or your “down-vote” thumb was lost in surgery after being diagnosed with heavy amounts of douche-bag. However, it appears as though after removal of said cancerous item there as been much improvement in character. However, short-term memory loss still seems to be in effect.
If you prefer, you are free to take 2 doses daily of “Grow the fuck up” or “Deal with it” found at your local pharmacy.
Have a nice day!

I’m all for some subscription-only features becoming available for the entire community to use. However, I am curious to know if there will be any new sub/veteran-only features added in the future. There’s still nothing wrong with a little bit of exclusivity for the invested/long-time players, am I right??

Good point, sonicsp33d. There really needs to be serious reconsideration for all of the veteran privileges and determine which features should be made available for all users. Removing the restriction of essential tools is long overdue, however my fortune cookie predicts a flurry of useful new veteran features to come soon.
