Woo, might actually just get eliminated on the very first round! Kind of sucks, but I was sort of expecting it / I had my five seconds of glory in D1, haha. Retro City's out of my league. I may attempt again later if I feel like I can have a chance at getting out of the elimination area...

You can do this in SM too if you don't mind ridiculously excessive BPM changes

But hey, I'm beginning to think the existing colors just aren't enough anymore for emphasizing stuff, you know? I'd like to suggest light green, brown, dark yellow, pale blue, and magenta arrows. I guess this could make it a little harder to step files, but that price is clearly way too small to prevent this idea from being awesome.

alternatively, I could just take the BPM and multiply it by the highest notation snap (i.e. if I'm using 64ths max, multiply it by 16, yolo), since it's either for FFR which is constant mod, or for people who play SM for scoring, which is also constant mod

How about black arrows with a glow around them for bonus points - let's turn those broken 16th runs into constant streams for more. Or, rainbow colored arrows that look happy completely empty out your lifebar just for shiggles.
