Metal Tournament Journal: Division 4

Alright let's get this started. Some people think I have a good chance at this somehow so let's take a serious shot at this amazing tournament. Also some brutally good people in my division, this is gonna be a wonderful arrow smashing workout!

Might as well list strenghts and weaknesses...

Strenghts:
Rolls
Bursts/Gluts
Speed
High difficulties (85+ I'm pretty sure I'm unrivaled in D4 =P especially raw!)
Vibrating (sadly I won't get to use that)
Awkward patterns/Colors
Spikes

Weaknesses:
Inconsistencies
Left handed patterns
Left handed jacks
Left handed trills
Left handed everything
Low level difficulties
Some jumpstream patterns
Long constant sequences (fine with extremely high speed streams as long as it's short, but will always fuck up a simple slow stream that lasts forever)

Round 1: Touch me.

Current score: AAA

Comments: Well, for first round in D4, that's a pretty easy file that feels a little low for a 55... There's no difficulty to bump into to be honest, minus the lenght maybe, and 2 minutes is only average... Overall, pretty decent chart by bmah we have here, and fun song too! It felt nostalgic! =) Anyhow, score is already an easy AAA, and on to round 2 next week!

Round 2: Walk on Water

Current score: AAA

Comments: I just played through the file with this horrible computer, and holy shit, happens to hit on all of my strenghts!!! I see an easy AAA with this file, but let's see what happens when I actually try to do that, I'm not known for my consistency! Well ok, I'm not known at all.

I'll comment on the song and chart a bit later, when I have time to play it on a good computer!

EDIT: Well I finally got to play on my dad's computer this morning, sister came bitching I was making too much noise. Quit for a while, came back when everyone was awake, AAA'd on 3rd try, see y'all to round 3!

Round 2: Slam the Door (Rogue Remix)

Current score: 1-0-0-0

Comments: At first I was like.... FML jumpstream. Then I played and got a low SDG. Mfw I can suddenly do this stuff. Although I have to say... This little button called "power" on my speaker... You know, you're hearing stuff... And when you press on it, you don't hear anything anymore...? Well that will be my best friend for the next week. I'm not sure I'll have any free time to play 'til next Wednesday, but my blackflag should make me pass. I'd like to AAA though.

File is pretty cool, as are all files from this round. Cool chart, cool music. Few parts in the charting I disagree with, but that's more of a matter of preference than technicality.

I was being gay and aiming for the AAA so I didn't save it herp derp. I got the good in a random easy part anyway.

It ended up in an AAA or die situation, which I tried very, very hard to keep up to, but I didn't manage to. Oh well... There's always next time...

   J'suis weak en rolls, bursts et certain types de mini-jack transition que y'avait dans ça. C'est juste le bpm bas qui me sauve.

   750 combo roll pattern, 1025 combo roll pattern surtout le reste était pas trop pire. Tant mieux si tu t'en rends pas compte. xP

   Our strengths and weaknesses are pretty similar except i cant vibrate worth crap.
