    I usually stay away from anime because it has recurring and annoying stereotypes/charachter design, sometimes I put up with it but oftentimes it's way too much

    ones I've fully watched and liked:

    Death Note
    Monster
    Ghost in The Shell (movie)
    Most of Myazaki's movies
    Your Name
    Goblin Slayer
    Jojo

    Things i'm still watching or waiting for new episodes:
    Dr. Stone
    Rising of the Shield hero

    I recently saw some snippets of Heaven Design Team and that one looks fun too!

                                Anyway, favorite for me is an easy pick with Usagi Drop. Below that I'd have a hard time ranking though.
                                From the stuff already mentioned in the thread that are up there for me would be: touhou, hinamatsuri, the one anime about feet feat. milf and shoemaker, cardcaptor sakura and utena.
                                For more recent works: Violet Evergarden, Yuru Camp and Killing Bites.
