I've read this a long time ago.

I remember when I read this "joke" that I was completely taken back by the ending. I'm not quite sure how to think of it. It's a two sided coin, the joke could be brilliant or just downright dumb because the joke catches you off guard after you devolve yourself into the story itself.

It either comes off as a "...Really?" to some and a "Haha, oh wow, didn't see that coming!" to the other some.

I for one found it hilarious, dohohoho.

I grinned at the "his whole family was dead" bit at the beginning. Then I was stone faced while reading. Got to the punchline and had a moment where I wanted to laugh, but more or less just did a static facepalm.

Was a good story and I'm a mixture of the personalities, but I ended up 11%.

Glad I procrastinated my homework for this. ~.~

I remember reading this some years back, and it would be a great read even if there weren't a punchline at the end. Definitely worth reading just for the story (although I know how this def sounds a bit like reading playboy for the articles).

I don't at all agree with the statement at the end of the joke. I thoroughly enjoy traveling and the entire process associated with it. I also take my time on things. But who in their right mind would read through a joke that long without at least peeking at the end of the story to see whether or not they're being trolled?

I'm willing to bet at least 98% of the people who happen to run across this joke will immediately skip to the end.
